All right, I promise I try to look it up on my own but I still can’t tell. What is the difference between the concourse, club, premiere, and field levels? Is it just inserts? Can someone please shed some light?

The design of the base cards. It says the type on the back. They are tiered with increasingly harder odds at pulling. Cardboardconnection will show how each looks and the parallels each has associated with it.

MSRP is $250. Distributors and shop owners get them for less than that. Some guy posted a sale sheet for them that I think had NT, Contenders Optic, Select, and 1 other item. I'm not 100% certain but I think they are paying something around $190-$208 a box.

If they can really get it for that price, I would imagine at least a few LCS are willing to undersell the market. So many people in my generation(teens to early 30's) never hit up card shops, I often find boxes for way less than ebay comps, even if still way more than MSRP and more than I'm willing to pay anyway.

But Select for me is such a good looking product, and honestly blows Prizm out of the water for me, I would actually rip a box if I could get it for maybe 800-1000, even if that means it's the only box I rip for the rest of the year.

I imagine retail will bloat the numbers massively.

Where’s everyone at on Select? A lot of people seem to be wanting to crown Select as the new consensus best base product. Does the inclusion of retail derail this line of thought? How about the multiple levels thing over one base card?

This has become my favorite. You cant beat the value you get from so many rookies and colors plus XRC. Plus they look great.

It's number one in my book now. I actually preferred Optic to Prizm already. I don't think they needed to add Club Level this year, though. Three levels seemed to be enough. The Field Level might be the nicest base card in the hobby though. It doesn't help that Prizm was such a poor opening experience -- tons of dud veteran base cards made it a slog. And the cards did not look nearly as nice as Select or Optic.

Remember 90% of the shops got next to nothing at that price. The updated screen shot of that site would show Select available at $1800/box.

Found an LCS out of town this last weekend for $133/pack. Definitely regret not picking any up (picked up 2 prizm hobby Bball packs instead)

To add, these are the first chrome cards from the 2020 class to use in-game photography across the board. For myself, that alone makes this year’s Select the best of the bunch. I haven’t been fond of the photoshops in previous products.

Field Levels are nice, but the lack of a defined border and the asymmetry of the design makes it feel like an insert. They look cool though.

Yes it's the distributors that are raking in most of the extra billions of profit. It's laughable to me whenever someone tries to argue this. Look at every product and what the distributors are paying versus what they sell it for. Select they pay $205 a box. Then charge $1500-$2000. When you are charging 3-10 times the MSRP and you're paying well under MSRP it adds up pretty quick.

Are there suppose to be non-auto diecuts? I haven't seen any in breaks or on ebay and it's listed on beckett and cc's checklists.

You should probably leave and never return, for health reasons of course.

I think select just ruined me for other brands. You get so little from other breaks compared to Select with all those useless vets etc.
