I never pay those prices for a single box, best way for me is breaking sites.
CAJUN BREAKERS and BADGER BREAKS have amazing prices. Ex. I purchased the Bears on Cajun Breakers in a full case of P & P for $29, another site (MB) was charging $99 for the Bears. ![]()

I've been using them for about a year with no issues. They have a great Christmas giveaway every year, I won $50 break credit last year

I’m only showing Hobby and H2 Versions coming up. Although retail usually gets added after the fact. Just to show you how out of control the market has gotten, take a look at these dealer prices. Now even if you’re a pretty big operation, it’s hard to get a lot at these prices, but it’s happening.

A lot of the LCS guys I know are getting very little of this stuff at these prices. It’s based on what they bought the year before. It’s the breakers that are killing it because of the massive quantities they’ve bought in the past, so they’re able to buy in at this price plus make money on the break. I’d imagine they’re driving Ferrari’s, in all the available parallels.

Shop owners are making money hand over fist (the ones who have a pulse). The above graphic is one example why. Yet shops never offer a good price to customers. It’s always “hey, this is under blowout!!” |

I used to be in the “support your local shop” group, but I’m done with that. |

Show the National Treasures and Select hobby box prices! I'm guessing $650 National Treasures and $175 Select. Pre sale prices they will charge will probably be $3000 and $1500. Last edited by mossoholic; 03-06-2021 at 10:56 PM. Reason: edit |

Steel City has these in-stock for $1999 for pre-sale. I think we are at the blowoff top stage of the bubble. No price is too outlandish, there is no shame in any of these card pushers.
It's hard to make predictions but I'm pretty sure these boxes are going to be available for less than $1999 in the future. |

There’s no way those prices can stay at that level with Retail coming out for Select. There just won’t be value in the singles to support anyone other than a breaker buying those boxes.

Also part of it may be to lower the price later in the hopes of giving the appearance of a bargain. There are like 60 cards in these boxes. These prices are just ridiculous. I don't think they can last even a few more months. |

Totally agree. It’s interesting to see the Dutch auctions of the FOTL boxes lately. Seems like Panini uses the sellout price to set the market On the hobby boxes. Anything before that is just a shot in the dark. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I always enjoyed breaking some boxes each year. That is no longer practical. Companies are selling at obscene prices that would only make sense for breakers. This combo is the bane of collecting, in my eyes.
