I still stand behind my statement that you are behind by a decade if you truly believe you can simply (CCP) Copy/Cut/Paste a jpeg and send it to someone and think that is the same thing as having a digital card within a secure app/enviornment that is transferred between 2 users within the application. I bet you think you can just add bitcoin to your wallet out of thin air as well right?

I dont think anyone is discrediting the value of digital cards. I think; now this is just my opinion on what everyone else thinks, that no one understands why they're valuable. You get no more enjoyment from looking at a picture based on its location. If I google search an image or bing search an image its still the same image minus the BS coding. So how does someone get gratification by buying and looking at it in an app when the same interaction can be had by a free google search.

Sure you own the code by buying it in your app but no one is looking at the code they're seeing an image, not a series of numbers and letters.

This is entirely why the premise of pirating and bootlegging is a problem, why pay full asking price when someone can get an unlicensed copy dirt cheap.

Problem with your theory of flipping for profit is that 95% of the card collecting market had a chance to buy that Rui Logoman for a fraction of what you're trying to get. Its not the same as a pack pulled card. The main hope is that in a few years Rui becomes an all-star level player and even a promo Logoman can sell.

I would suggest easing up a bit. He said “95%” because the card was widely available to the general public for purchase below what you are asking. So it’s easy to infer that it does not have the value you put it on EBay for.

If I remember correctly the actual sale price was under 1/3 of what you are asking. I doubt the card has a short term increase that steep, but I’ve been wrong before. I’m guessing the value will start to go up around NT release time.

My asking price is based on multiple factors. We shall see what it sells for down the road when the time comes, or if it does at all...

One such factor is that Rui has a ton of potential and is just about to return to playing sometime this week after a long injury. Maybe it's possible that his prices move higher soon, who knows? Compared to all the cards he has out there this one stands out. It's a pretty sweet card in hand IMHO and I don't mind holding on to it if I can't sell it.

I will be interested to see how this goes. If I recall correctly the price on Rui, then I think this was an awesome purchase to flip. I think it will be a quick double or better. Good luck with the sale!
