RGIII is the exception to the rule for injuries, thats why he's brought up, but funnily he's brought up as the rule by people who want to speculate. He's the closest thing to compare to, yet nothing like Lamar. How often do WRs get injured? Lamar is built like a strong WR, and takes similar yet lesser hits. There are no stats or any reasonable analysis that would suggest that Lamar will get injured per the amount of "hits" he is taking or not.
My comment was specifically about a play where he didn't have to take a hit. All players get hit, and QBs take their fair share for sure.

That play in particular, he had the first down and could have gone out of bounds, but chose to gain an extra half yard and get hammered for it. Hopefully he gets smarter about stuff like that, because I definitely enjoy watching him play.

Lamar Jackson is the best qb in the nfl currently

How crazy is that to say considering this is only his first year

Not that crazy, as Mahomes was MVP as well in his first full year. Super crazy in the way that no one would have seen this coming after watching him his first year.

Look no further than Mahomes last year. Will be identical, as there's now far too many investors at play banking on him going forward.

They'll get the 1st round bye, so really all he needs to do is win one and at least get to the AFC Championship game.

I thought there'd be a postseason pullback on Mahomes last year, but was wrong. Lamar's stuff will continue to rise until next year's preseason. Because market psychology states everyone will be waiting for a pullback...while too many are busy buying. After that it'll all depend on how he plays following his mvp crowning. I'd be selling in the preseason if I had any. We saw what happened to Mahomes once an injury stopped his flow.

Follow the blueprint...don't let greed consume you and become your downfall.

Lol. My wife loves watching Lamar and I asked her if she wanted a picture or a poster or something of him and she said "no, that would give me nightmares".

I have one card of him - Optic Holo. It will go to PSA with my next submission. it should be back about preseason time...

Didn't know where to put this but for anyone looking for a MSRP price to get Lamar. Optic blaster are 19.99 on Panini website.

https://www.paniniamerica.net/2019-2...ter-box-2.html

Link looks weird but its correct

Yeah that one wasn't a good look, but a clear miscommunication with the TE Boyle. He was directing him to block one direction, but Boyle went another and completely missed both guys. If Boyle has latched onto the guy on the left, Lamar would have had a seam and potentially a lot more yards.

Regardless, it's a hit I don't want to see him take, especially as a Ravens fan. With that being said though, that's easily the hardest hit he's taken all year and I've seen plenty more guys take much more of a beating in the pocket. No one is exempt from that. Lamar has done pretty well avoiding that all year. I know all it takes is one, but can't live your life in fear either. If you have Lamar, you have to let him be Lamar.

What is that suppose to mean? She's afraid of Lamar Jackson's appearance but she likes watching him play football?

Also, who would buy/offer to buy their wife a poster of an athlete lol.

We have a media room dedicated to sports. I didn't know I wasn't allowed to buy my wife anything sports related. My bad. Thank you for correcting me. I'll get her jewelry and flowers only from now on.

Also, another week where more quarterbacks were injured and missed time- Kyler, Mason Rudolph, Haskins. Not to mention all the other ones throughout the year.

But Lamar hasn't missed a snap all year, yet his type of play is not sustainable compared to other qb's. Pretty sure a year and a half straight is pretty good not to miss any time.

Everyone gets hurt eventually, and I am sure there will be happy board members when he does. But if you actually watch the Ravens games, he is not taking hits much worse that any other QB.

No worries and congrats on the media room. Sorry your wife does not fine Lamar attractive enough to have something of him in your media room.

It's crazy, people are obsessed with finding something "wrong with him".

He can't pass... he s going to get hurt... He is unattractive...

Wait, WHAT?

Im guessing there's going to be a lull in selling, to include a slight decrease in prices, until after the Ravens first playoff game (rd 2 of the playoffs).
