I cannot wait to hear what the BGS homers have to say on this one. I already can hear it.
People are human, they make mistakes..blah, blah, blah It is getting so out of hand with BGS giving cards grades they dont deserve... Oh wait, people will keep submitting if they keep giving 10s out.....I mean thats not a financial incentive on the part of BGS, is it? Beckett would never do something as unethical as give out a high grade to a card with obvious issues would they? Oh wait..there is that whole Stephen Strasburg thing But people are just human, they make mistakes, right. ![]() ![]() I am very curious to what the justification will be on this one. |

BGS gives out high grades to insure the future security of its business. High grade cards sell for premiums. As long as that continues to happen people will keep submitting and BGS continues to make money. |

I am amazed of the grades this card received. Pretty spot on with this analysis. Hell, BO should just sticky this post on the threads.

chrome cards are bizarre for surface grades.... i think it has to do with "man made" issues after pack out. i have seen both bgs and psa give 10's for cards with etch marks that were not true indentations on the card and likely from production or pack out. i have also seen small scratches that got psa 7,8's and bgs 8 that were clearly post pack out.
i don't really agree with that standard but it is what it is, not sure about this odell but it met some standard |

BGS and Panini work together too. You can’t make this crap. They whooped my butt today on optic FOTL. Sneaky little fudge cups.

Congrats on the grade. These things happen when you are eight months behind on your orders. Graders are probably rushing through things like mad now.
