Now the Fake autopenned Prescott autos are on the Market

Boy this wholes situation is becoming the biggest Cluster #### out there IMO. With the whole new batch of unsigned prizm cards hitting the market, it was only a matter of time before we had people signing them themselves and now even faking the "auto" pen signatures. SIGHHHHH WTF. This is getting just plain STUPID.

Look at this "auto" pen which is currently listed on eBay. (Not mine)... and please look at the second loop. The Line has a curve in it unlike the actual auto penned cards which has a more perpendicular line. NONE of these actual auto pens have this curve. Please see the second photo which is mine that was redeemed from Panini. I know that is a legit, if you want to call it "auto" penned card.

Not sure. I know I have started a few threads about different issues with the autopen. I never sent mine back because I wanted to wait and see Panini's ability to do what they said before I sent it back and got a replacement Dak Origins Sticker auto for replacement. Just a hunch. I imagine there were some that sent theirs back and how many actually got out initially is still a mystery as multiple people on BO stated that their orders were caught in transit and returned to Panini. I guess I am just more in amazement that people are now FAKING the already "FAKE' auto.

Seller on eBay... I jumped at the chance. #@#@#@#@ if I get dak to sign those golds in the future I have the originals.... They all #d 1/10 - 10/10 too....

Yeah but if you can get him to sign them on card then you have an original... Unsigned will only go so far imo

The issue is if he charges $150 per auto then prob not worth getting a ton of base signed... Golds yes but higher #s no

I think they came from daks marketing guy but yeah I bought them from a seller on ebay....

Oh no.... I own all 5 of the gold vinyls so when I got them in (the fakes) I was offered $4500 for #2/5 or #3/5 but after they were flagged at BGS I sent them back to Panini. I will get the hologram ones back in the mail after he signs the new ones

I haven't sold any.... I just bought as a collectors piece and I got them fairly cheap.

The gold vinyls I had is what started the autopen controversy to begin with.... I overnighted to BGS and thats where it began....

I bought mine from a dude in NM but he's sold tons already... I mean I assume dak didn't sign and he brought back the ones he didn't.... Or they were sold backdoor by his marketing director...

I mean without an auto on them they not that valuable imo.... Sure the golds are nice and I can sell them fairly easy since the #d but obviously getting him to sign at a future signing is where the $$ is at... The bases and all I'm not even worried about as paying him to sign may not make me any $$$

Bedler, nice pick up on the complete run on the Gold Prescott's. I wonder how many gold sets they printed.

Did they even release a statement as to what happened with the autographs? This is a reason that cards from this brand have little value on the secondary market.

Seller claims this is the "3rd variant of the autopens" but the dead giveaway that this is fake, is that he mentioned he has a few more of the different colors as well.

Love his description too. I am so sick of these d-bags. Already bad enough that Panini screwed the pooch. I bet it is the same A-hole who has multiple eBay ID's and is selling these cards on multiple accounts.
