Best card for $3k?

Maybe black diamond Lebron rookie or 96 flair row 0 Kobe if available at those prices. Haven't checked, but high grade Olajuwon star xrc and Moses Malone rcs would be cool too.

Any Row of '96 Flair Kobe or his Ultra RC would be my picks. Row 0 is probably over $3K though but Row 1 or 2 would fit the bill and both are tougher grades than the 0. None of the three rows has a pop above 70.

Row 0 is not anywhere close to $3k anymore.

Topps 221 is not what I would buy with $3k.

$3k is hard. Whatever PSA 10 90s MJ insert costs around $3k is what I would buy.

Interesting, didn't know the Row 1 and 2 were more condition sensitive. I always assumed they were all equally crazy condition sensitive! I don't tend to chase the 10s, but would make an exception if I ever was able to pick up the Kobe flair rookies at those grades. I have them but not in such high grades. And the Legacy Kobe rookies, one can dream... Flair was one of my fav brands as a kid, just thought the cards looked soooo nice. One of those few times where using a fancy scripted font on more modern card actually works out and looks good imo.

Kobe Topps is a solid choice

Try to find another $250 and get a LeBron Topps if you just want one card

I miss the days when you could get a 1987 Fleer Jordan in a PSA 10 for less than 3k (those days weren't that long ago). That second year card of his was criminally undervalued for a long time.

1996 Flair Kobe Bryant. Since the Row 0 is probably not an option, go with Row 2. It is a gorgeous card. There’s only 58 PSA 10’s so you might have to wait a few months to see one pop up.

Whatever you do, don't buy common trash for thousands of dollars just because it's a psa 10.

You can buy incredible nm Jordans for 3k.

This is the truth. Low pop 90s MJ in PSA 8-9 is the best value there is right now.
