God bless the number of parallels. Convince me there will be demand for a magenta refractor of anybody in 10 years.

That's not all of them ... just the retail stuff.

The only reason to pass on the magnets refractor is you are holding out for the slightly more rare magenta speckle refractor.

Same way purple speckle demand will be hurt by purple sonar demand which wil be hurt by purple demand

It's an open question whether there is demand for them now. In 10 years, it depends on your viewpoint.

The OOGs originally rejected the Purple /250 and Green /99. Now the new OG accept those two as part of the rainbow and are rejecting all the new stuff. In 10 years it will be a new group of OGs and they may like the new parallels...when the product is new and fresh.

The flip side of that is if you have say a Francisco Lindor Purple /299 from 2018 you're lucky to get $2-$3. A Ryan Braun would be lucky to get $1. About 160 of the 200 card set would be immovable even at $1. That will only get worse over the years.

Purple /250 and Green /99 still are still less desired and sell for less than their "less rare" Refractor /499 and Blue /150 counterparts, respectively though, right?

Purple /250 is more than the /499 for both BCA and non-auto. Green is still a little less than the Blue /150 but more than the Shimmers and Waves for BCA. For non-auto it typically goes for more, especially on the non 1st/RC stuff. The Atomic /100 for BCA seems to have been accepted as well, going for similar to the Green /99.

Interesting. I know how closely you track these trends; this is the opposite of what I thought.

There will not be any demand for ANY parallels #'d higher than 25 unless there is something truly unique or visually appealing about them.

I collect Heritage Black Chromes, but I wouldn't touch any non-black parallel with a 10-foot pole....

There’s something amazing about being able to get double for base rookies in the first few days of release.

Seemed like Topps Chrome went from utter trash product break to something people actually anticipate overnight.. what did I miss cause nothing has changed with the actual product. Are we just getting dumber and more desperate?

It looks like they ripped off the already atrocious Panini design:

Hopefully they aren't replacing True Reds with TacoFractors.

Retail I think will be hard to come by because box prices are going to be stupid high so people will flock to their favorite retailer. I bet Blasters are $30 just like for Bowman.

What retail product has been hard to come by the last two years?

What product has had retail that Hobby was priced as high as Chrome is going to be ? 2023 Bowman maybe and it's not exactly sitting on shelves in mass and Topps Chrome is more popular than Bowman plus factor in all the hot Rc's.

Hopefully I'm wrong but I don't think I am

All of it is wildly over priced. So I’ll go with all of it.
