Default Is this a real Griffey autograph?

I won an auction for a "Dan Wilson autograph ball" that had another autograph that looked like Ken Griffey, Jr. and was inexpensive enough that I thought it was worth a shot. The side of the ball has a Mariners logo and both autographs are in blue ballpoint pen. I'm contemplating getting it authenticated, but I feel like it's pointless because I have no real context so all they'd say is "consistent", plus I doubt I'd sell it anyway. Thoughts?

Also, yes, that's a Minions Funko on top.

Eh, worth a shot. I have an Ernie Banks autograph that isn't that similar to other authenticated ones I see online, but (a) he wrote Ernest, which I've never seen elsewhere and (b) I know it's legit because I met him. I'm fascinated by people who have consistent signatures.

It's the same basic reason I have a whole bunch of 1986 Topps Traded Bo Jackson cards, some Tiffany some not. They're basically lottery tickets and I hit like 20% of the time, but when I hit it's like a 500x. Either way, it's a funny story.

It really wasn't though. You could've posted the picture prior to and everyone would've told you no.

Thoughts?

You can’t tell what a Griffey auto looks like.

Wait, wait, wait ... self deprecating humor?

No, we can't have that. You are obligated to respond in a pissy, know-it-all manner. You are to never, NEVER, not be offended by people who can't just give a simple answer to a question without being overly (and pathetically) judgmental.

Who are you, some kind of modern-day Jesus?

EDIT: Because I admit that I have replied to posts in a pissy, know-it-all manner. I'm as guilty as anyone else and just wanted to clarify that I am no saint. I do appreciate when someone takes it on the chin and just moves on.

Who among us has not responded to something in that manner? To err is to be human; to forgive, divine.
