Then we shouldn't single him out when he hits a HR (which will be done every time he hits one). Also there are threads about other players, Bryant is no different.

I've heard he adjusted his swing, but I just don't see it. Still angled, and still long. Maybe a tad shorter to the ball, but that's about it.

Congrats! You learned how to work the Google machine and researched a couple of stats.

2 games down 160 to go, and in the long run if the Cubs continue to win KB's stats don't mean jack to us fans.

Sounds like you're just another bitter collector who:

A) Sold their Bryant cards way too early and you are now praying he fails just to make yourself feel better about the huge loss you took.

B) spent 10K on Bowman Chrome product chasing his autos and got nothing


I for one am just glad the Cubs roster is so deep that we don't have to rely on one player to carry us the entire season.

I'm not sure who's worse right now, Cubs "fans" or Royals "fans". It's really close right now. The thread went over their heads. It's annoying to see a 1 game update for a particular player so he made one to point out a player struggling the first few games.

Until now there was none? Unless I missed some this was the first thread about Bryant specifically.

Last year yes there was tons, but that's thanks to hype! Most of those threads NOT Cubs fans!

The funny thing is a lot of the guys in here defending Kris Bryant are Cubs fan and wouldn't have made the thread for his first HR anyway. It's usually someone that's not even in the Cubs thread that makes it. I get it he gets annoyed with threads being made over everything, so do we. Of course we're going to defend our player, what do you expect? This is a stupid thread. He didn't have the balls to make it about Trout though because everyone in the community would have been in here commenting.

Cubs fans here all comment in the Cubs thread, rarely do I see an actual CUBS fan make a thread about any of the players.

It's all people motivated by his personal stats because they have 5K worth of Bowman Chrome product riding on him.

Um yeah, I don't invest in baseball cards, I am a Cubs fan, I do not care how they win, I will take a W no matter what! Of course I want all of the players to be successful, but if Bryant doesn't live up to the hype guess what? We have other players who can step up and still make it happen!


People here who live and die by Kris Bryant and his personal stats are ones who have something to gain or lose from it $$$$$$$
