08-09 TC orange refractor set

I’m sitting on the entire set, and looking at thoughts on value. I’ve seen key cards like Lebron, Kobe, Durant, and other HOF locks selling for 10k plus, along with an impressive rookie class as well.

congrats on completing such an iconic set.

I have been loving all of these completed set posts lately. was afraid it was becoming a fading sector of the hobby.

I wish I could take the credit for it, but I actually bought it from a seller in 2009. I am a huge Rose fan, and wanted a set he’s in that I could afford at the time. It has paid off for sure!

As is, ungraded I’m gonna say $20-25k and I maybe high because I believe this set is iconic, best in the chrome class. I believe this maybe a case that the whole is more valuable than the individual parts.

I was thinking 25k ungraded myself, and yes very iconic set! Should I grade the big names and leave the rest raw? I was thinking of grading the Lebron, Kobe, and Durant vets…and the Rose and Westbrook RC’s

I am highly considering moving this set, and a few members here have shown interest. The Kobe and Lebron alone sell for just over 20k in high grade, and others including many key rookies sell for a good amount too.
This set continues to rise and while I’d like to hold, I just may move it if the right price comes along. If anyone is truly interested, please send me any offers you may have. Again, I’m only willing to move if the right price comes along.

amazing set, but i have to disagree. This set along with most of the cards from all sets of steadily dropped over the last 6 months. Now we just wait and see what happens down the road. I for one don't believe we will ever see prices we did back just 6-7 months ago
