This thread is pure speculation. However, I'm very confident he uses the same person he has sign all of his fan mail to sign his Panini cards.
I believe Shaq's dad used to sign his fan mail but I'm not sure if he's still alive. The thread on fanmail says "There are rumors that another family member, or a assistant is signing now." See this thread: Fanmail.biz • View topic - Shaquille O'Neal - SUCCESS? Compare the signature in that thread to his Panini signatures. They're pretty much the same. Fake Panini signature: ![]() Real signature: ![]() His actual autograph doesn't match his Panini autographs. Sure, the Panini signatures resemble his autograph, but there are distinctions (like extra squiggles, and the way the "S" is written) that giveaway the fact that somebody else has been signing Shaq's Panini cards for the last couple years. Compare his Panini signatures to autographs Shaq has actually signed throughout his NBA career - whether for card companies or in person. Now that I look through eBay, it looks like he USED to actually sign autographs for Panini, hence this real signature: ![]() Anyway... This has bothered me for years and I think somebody needs to get to the bottom of this. I expect many people to think I'm crazy for assuming such a thing, but if true, this is a crime on both Shaq and Panini. |
