Blowout 2020 All Time NFL Redraft

I have seen this done in the Baseball Section and the Basketball Section. To help pass the time by along with doing a 1st of this from what I have seen, I'd like to start up an all time redraft. This would consist of all current 32 NFL teams and the draft order would be randomized.

ROSTER SIZE- We will do a 25 round draft. The first few rounds should fly by, but the later we go, the deeper we need to reach in to find players. There will be 25 positions to fill, which includes special teams. I'd thought this would make things interesting seeing how well we all know our punters and kickers. Some players do play multiple positions, so when you draft that player, make sure you list what position he is playing.

The will be the roster layout is open for a few options, on offense or defense. You can choose to go run heavy and have extra Tight Ends, or a spread offense and run 5 WR's. I really want to see strategy in with the drafting. Same goes for the defense, you can do a 4-3, 3-4, 4-6. However you decide to put your team together, as long as the positions are filled for all 11 starters on offense and defense.

Special teams is simple: 1 Kicker, 1 Punter and 1 Return Man.

I emphasize for you to set up your team how you want to. Football is different than Baseball and Basketball. There are set positions in those sports where football you can get creative.

DRAFT - Once the list is full, a mod will randomize the order. This will be done snake style. In something like this, middle of the pact is better than first or last. Whoever gets the #1 pick will start and end the draft.

I urge anyone that joins please please please be active.

We will use a 12 hour time clock for picks.

And we will use the same format to draft as the Baseball thread, since it is easier to read.

VOTING- This will be done by a 32 team, elimination style bracket. The match-ups would be randomized where they go in the bracket and we would proceed to run through the bracket. There will be a time slot for people to make their votes on the teams.

Once the voting process is done, which ever team wins overall, I will include a special prize for the winner. It will be a $100 Ebay Gift Card or $100 Blowout Gift card, which ever the winner decides.

Note - No trades/drops of players or picks. Wherever you draft is penciled in.

Just remember that the voting process will include the votes of Blowout Members. So when building your team, you can either cater to the voters likes since a handful of them may not know a few of the names on your team or listen to your heart and draft what you think is the best All Time Team.

I strongly encourage both, a mix of old stars to current stars. But like I said, draft how you seems fit. I personally like the idea of drafting the best at the position, regardless of era. If I could draft Uncle Rico at QB, I sure would. Unfortunately, he did not play in the NFL
