With Topps going public a lot of people on here have been speculating that they are looking for growth opportunities; reentering basketball seems like a pretty obvious bet. If the league ever granted Topps a license to compete with Panini, my guess is that Topps Chrome would supplant Prizm as the premier “investment” product and Prizm would crater in value. Prizm designs are embarrassingly ugly compared to Topps Chrome IMO, and doesn’t possess the same lineage.
