This thread is intended to be informative about a PSA process I didn't know much about, so I thought others might be interested to learn about it.
Summary: If you have a PSA graded card that is mislabeled, you can submit it for correction, and based on my experience, it shouldn't cost you anything. I did not have the card graded, I bought it already graded, but mis-labeled. PSA covered shipping both ways, and there was no charge for the fix. It's going to be about 30 total days from contacting PSA, to receiving the card back. ------------------------------------- On Jan 12 I was contacted through ebay messages about a card I had listed with the following title: 2017 Bowman Prospect Chrome Refractor Auto #EJ Eloy Jimenez PSA 10 *mislabeled* ![]() The account has zero feedback. It looked suspicious to me. The contact info was attached as an image ("business card"), which is also something to be suspicious of, but sending an email address or phone number within the text of an ebay message may get it flagged for removal, so I get why it's done this way. ![]() I checked out the email domain, collectors.com. I was suspicious of this, too, since it wasn't psacard.com. However, if you look around that site, you'll see that it falls within the Collectors Universe hierarchy. I had never been to that collectors.com site before. It's worth noting that the cert number was deactivated at the time I checked it after receiving the first ebay message, so that led me to believe this was all legit, but I still did my due diligence to make sure. I would never contact a phone number or email address sent to me via ebay message in the way this one was sent. Not without verifying it first. The ebay account references the Customer Request Center (CRC), so the best thing to do is go directly to the PSA site, psacard.com, and look for a link to the CRC. It's linked from the main page. Services --> Helpful Links --> Customer Request Center https://www.psacard.com/myaccount/customerrequestcenter From this page, I entered a Label Correction Request on Jan 19. I got a reply from Beth (the same person who contacted me via ebay messages) and she confirmed that PSA covers shipping both ways, and the card was already reviewed/confirmed to be mislabeled. We had a back and forth conversation the same day, so the response was very timely. I wasn't able to submit the online form because the cert# was deactivated (the online form derives the description based on the cert# and you can't type in the description field), so I was provided a form to print and fill out. In the online submission center, I was asked to choose Review in step two, and CRC in step 3. Looks like CRC isn't there now (I'd never seen that option before), so I suspect it's activated temporarily for your account based on this type of request. CRC was a $0 option, so it makes sense not to show it to everyone, all the time. I dropped it at Fedex Jan 20. Marked "arrived" by PSA Jan 27. Entered Feb 2 Research & ID Feb 2 Assembly Feb 8 Shipped Feb 11 (actually going out today, Feb 14). The cert# is active again (same number as before), description is updated, and they imaged the card as well. https://www.psacard.com/cert/44192649 The "pizza tracker" is slightly different for re-holder: ![]() Hope this helps.
