What were his "actions" exactly? The opposite angle shows Joseph making initial contact with his left glove followed by the right hand with the stick. Looked to me like someone trying to clear the crease on a PK with a loose puck and Korpisalo on his butt. Was a shove that rode up high; Kelly coming in seemed to be what knocked him out.

Perron deserves 5-10 games...and I thought it was the most outrageous thing I'd see all weekend until Gudbranson's assault on Cousins. Wrapped him up, threw him to the ice, and then kept punching him in the back of the head. 29 PIM...deserves 10-20 games. Gudbranson is 6'5 220 and Cousins 5'11 185...

Columbus fans screaming bloody murder at the initial hit, which, while it looked bad, wasn't a two hand shove to the numbers. To me, it looked like Cousins was anticipating contact from the much larger Gudbranson and leaned into it...only for Gudbranson to turn his head and go directly into the boards. For Gudbranson to pop right up and try and fight him is antithetical to the whole "that could have killed him" argument. He was fine, the refs reviewed it, and gave Cousins 2 minutes for boarding.

Of course the lamest people in sports screaming Cousins "turtled"..."should have answered the bell"...Florida has big boys, if Gudbranson wanted it, I'm sure he could've found a dance partner. Instead he dropped the gloves mid-check on Cousins and tackled him to the ice. Disgusting.
