Those are facts. Every generation tends to look down on those that follow, and that is what is happening here. Sure, its irresponsible and silly behavior. But that is the life they want to live and they are entitled to do so. People can hate on them and talk down about them till the cows come home. Doesn't change reality.

So I think you're right, and I was inherently making a judgement based on the term I used but I'm not judging as much as I am observing the reality.
My personal opinion is that it's bad overall but that doesn't change anything about how it is.
I still enjoy prospecting and buying cards. I'll enjoy it no matter what happens. I do wish I could just grab some boxes and rip cards every now and again but it is what it is
