Hey guys okay here is the deal I sold a 1/1 longevity of Troy Smith a beauty of a Ravens patch some of you here may have seen it. Anyway I list it with a scan front and back of card. Even put a phrase all cards in great condition unless otherwise noted. (this helps me to be aware of the product and any flaws that may earn me a ticked off buyer.) Now, I look the card over again before I mail it in a 1/4" card sleeve w/ team bag and bubble mailer. Insured with D/C to cover my @#!. Now I get an email from this guy.
Dear fstpitch12, I just received my card and there's a scratch in the back of the card that wasn't showing on the scan and there was nothing on the discribtion stating any damage. Is an half an inch scrath and I am not pleased with it. I will like to return the item and get a refund. You can check that I'm a good ebayer. I've bought many cards on ebay and never had this problem. - next_XXXXXX_1971 Where is a Seller protection? I did everything right and I have very good feedback on ebay selling a lot of cards. Now I am out 207.00 & a nice card. I am positive there were no scratches on this card. I contacted Ebay and they are still probably scratching heads wondering how to respond. any advice? Email #2 Dear fstpitch12, I bought that card for a client of mine and now I'm stoke with it. It's not worth my time waiting for Ebay or sending it to dunruss for a $200 card. You should have sent the card on a screw down to prevent damamge during shipping. That seems only right when you sell a card of such value. - next__1971 Last edited by GRWLRGUZZLR; 01-09-2008 at 03:00 PM. |
