Prizm Refractor Questions

I have recently begun to look at basketball products and I like the look of Prizm Base Rookie Refractors however I find them quite hard to locate on ebay as it is sometimes hard to distinguish them from the non-refractors. So my first question is if refractors have any visible differences (besides the refraction of course, which can sometimes be hard to see on photos) than base to locate them more easily. My last question is what are the rarity of these cards and then also what are their approximate value (as a range an hot rookie card like Anthony Davis or Kyrie Irving vs a non-factor/bust like Jan Vesley for example).
