Yep, and all horizontal cards should remain horizontal and vice versa.

Though I'm not going to let either get to me anymore. None bother me as much as Ted Williams' head on a platter. The only saving grace there is that particular Williams looks nothing like Williams.

He was being mocked for how low he was selling the cards.
In that case, I thought the lawyer was actually right. Not really somebody else's business on how low/high a guy sells his cards.

Mister Cartoon and Oldmanalan will likely do Trout cards that don't use or reference that image.

Mister Cartoon could do a horizontal Trout card.

They won't even get in trouble for it either.

I quit at 100.... i just could not deal with shipping...

I completely agree. That's why it's at the end next to the Mic Trout. If I get into some other Fucci cards, I'll end up displaying it with those instead.

The email Topps sent out saying they expected to be caught up with all open orders in 4-6 weeks will have been 4 weeks ago on Saturday. They were on card 154 when they sent the email, so they'll need to be shipping card 154 by August 22nd to meet that expectation. Don't see that happening.

Everyone is allowed to be dissappointed in Topps' handling of shipping out what was obviously (to me) 30X the volume they probably anticipated just before Griffey. I imagine internally they expected cards to stay <10k per. Just a guess.

Doesn't excuse them for not meeting promises made more recently, I realize that.

But, I'm with TBP, I am not selling so I don't really mind the wait. Cards WILL start showing up quicker. I have my jpgs I can stare at. I have this board to come to to get my fix.

I guess I am taking it too easy on Topps, but I'm in the camp that's more bothered by artists not using the original design as their starting point, to picking bad photos, and too much orange, not enough black & white in the background/too much sharpie, etc., than I care about the shipping times.

Since my credit card bills from those months are already paid, the cards are now free to me when they get here

Topps may be reading BO but I doubt they are doing so with any kind of frequency. Also the speed with which the Koufax borders were removed only suggests the original image was posted in error.

I'm not saying they wouldn't react to social media posts, but that a company doing so with the apparent speed you're assuming would be much more on top of things. I'm not just referring to shipping speed but the whole laundry list of web site and customer service issues Topps has. Just look at the problems with the Finest Flashbacks orders. This a company lacking basic competence.
