I have a Luka prizm that's guaranteed to be a BGS 9 or PSA 9...which would you prefer (as a buyer/seller)?

Is a BGS 9 better than a PSA 9 or vice versa?

PSA is where the money is if you're a seller. The "Whale's" as i like to call them (people with deep pockets) are PSA registry collectors. Ask TBP he'll tell you the same thing.

When i first got back into the hobby i was a BGS guy. I thought people were silly for grading through PSA because BGS cases are better honestly for protection. But if you want top dollar on the resale PSA is the way to go. I learned that when i started buying Brady RC's and seeing a huge difference in resale value. The cards do look nicer too for some reason in a PSA case. I think the plastic is clearer. They tend to pop more.

There is BGS 9, then weak BGS 9, strong BGS 9, weak BGS 9.5, strong BGS 9.5, BGS 10 and BGS 10 Black

For PC I got BGS 9 all day. Can’t tell the difference between 9 and 9.5 so might as well save some cash.

Just added a Blue Velocity to the PC.

If you don't own any Luka and want the satisfaction of owning one of his cards then I highly recommend the Velocity variety. Such an undervalued card.

Love the look of them. Picked one up two weeks ago for $80. Saw a few listed today for $110-$125 which still isn't bad.
