I think this is his card from the Angels team set that was sold in blister packs. The packs had the Trout card on the front.

Ohtani starting to gear up like his rookie class brothers. A gold PSA 10 update nearly did $300!!

Correct! I believe it is the first card of his to have the RC logo. I like the image better than a lot of his other RC's. Hopefully those two factors help the card retain a decent value down the road.

Nice I have graded only two so far, one came back as a BGS 9 (Ohtani) and the other one 9.5 (Acuna).

Hey man. Surface can be tough on these so I'd just makes sure there aren't any scuffs. Also a microfiber wipe on the frame is ideal to avoid finger prints. If there are any dents on it, I wouldn't bother grading. Otherwise you should be fine. I have 8 of these bad boys (4 graded) and they are fantastic cards

If Ohtani turns into more of a hitter than a pitcher. Which of his RCs (other than his BC which will likely remain his best) will benefit the most? Will the ones with him hitting climb the most?

Great question to ponder but I don't think his final position matters for cards outside the BC auto. I'm a buyer of his chrome and reg. Topps variations and parallels.., don't think his final position determines how they fare imo.

That's absurd/great. The pitching went for 45-50 raw at one point..
