Well I requested shipment on Tuesday and cards are already shipped. Only costs nearly $10 to not have them delivered in April. What an S show. The whole appeal use to be $4 for everything and it was a pretty quick.

So let me see if I am understanding this...the default bucket is "Raw" and if the card is NMT/MT or better it is put in that category? And if the card is less than NMT it will be designated in the lower categories?

At the present time, the default bucket is theoretically NM-M or better. But there were times in the past when COMC would reject modern cards which weren't NM-M. There were times when they would only note flaws if they weren't visible from the scan. There are also instances where cards wind up in the default bucket which aren't strict NM-M.

When COMC started, it wasn't even primarily a trading platform. It was "Checkoutmycards", as in "hey, check out these Brett Saberhagen cards I picked up on eBay." When I started in 2010, there were only a few hundred users, and people were expected to be able to judge the condition for themselves by looking at the scans.

Later on, when they started cross-posting to Amazon, condition became more of an issue. So they started adding condition notes to cards. But they would often get caught in the weeds noting that this 35 cent card had a ding in the upper right corner, while that 35 cent card had a ding in the lower left corner. As they got larger, they had to hire more and more people to process cards. Some of them were much more strict than others about condition. Plus, there was a suspicious tendency for them to suddenly find "flaws" in a batch of cards when they were late with the processing.

They started putting vintage cards into condition buckets. Later on they would put modern cards into condition buckets as well. But this was maybe 70,000,000 cards in.

I requested shipment of a batch of cards from COMC back in July, they gave me an estimated shipment date of November.

That date has come and gone and it only moved to the packaging stage after contacting customer support. Unfortunately, it has been stuck there for at least a month now. Coming up on 6 months and still no cards...

I made a request around the same time. This shipment is finally out for delivery today. So there is hope. My other open request isn't scheduled until March. I don't know that will happen.

I flat out refuse to pay the ransom on my shipping orders in a reasonable timeframe. Most of what I buy is around $1/card. That extra quarter makes a huge difference when multiplied over hundreds of cards. If I bought a bunch of $20+ cards, it probably wouldn't be a big deal.

My biggest headache with the massive delays is that I don't remember what I have in those batches, so I end up making duplicate purchases. Would be nice if they made those searchable.

great for you.i have 4 submission with 2 at current year and 2 at 3week all way past due.they where do from 9-3 - 10-5.most of the chatter is about the poor shipping times.but with out the sellersthey wont generate fees. both the sellers and buyers need each other.

I requested an Economy Rushed shipment of 53 cards on the 26th and it hasnt shipped yet. Not late yet with an estimated ship date of 1/12, but interesting that even with similar shipping levels they don't seem to be processing these in chronological order.

my order was only 18 cards, 1 from UE e-pack and no remotely stored items.

I shipped today(Friday) and good size batch of Elite and also 3-week guaranteed.

Ill be sure to update on here how things go so everyone can have a clear picture of what processing is looking like.

As for shipping, I wouldnt dare think of using the economy/cheap service.

Ive done multiple express packages the past 9-10 months and the beautiful thing is most are late and Im able to request reimbursement from the USPS. They mail me a check and it makes shipping much cheaper

Mine has already shipped. I don’t understand why it doesn’t go in order. Last time my request took 4 months to ship I believe

Requested a shipment of 275 cards on 1/6 with shipping time of 4/8. A few of them have been in my account for over a year.

Tried to do the request on 1/1/2021 but it stated I do not have enough credit, but it showed I did. The shipping fee was less then I had in my account. After several messages it appeared like (they never said it) That when I requested the shipment before adding the 3 cards I purchased through the auctions So the extra .45 fee do not show in the shipping cost. I had them there for shipment all the time.. The shipping cost changed at that point. So I had to add more money.

Flipper got a card that I needed. I had to add some more money .30 short. By the time it was done the card were gone.

Is there a way to request COMC rescan a card? I’m interested in buying one but I can’t tell if one of the back corners is slightly bent or not.

Try submitting an error - saying the item needs to be rescanned.

Yeah I tried that on one before that had an actual screwed up scan and they never fixed it. It seems they aren’t paying much attention to error corrections these days. Dang. The card is a good deal but not that good of a deal to take a chance on. It’s listed for over $75 so I’m surprised it has such a shitty scan to begin with. Thanks though!

Or email them at staff@comc.com and ask them to look at it. They can go into the warehouse and then let you know.

Man am I getting worried.

Asked for a check to be sent to me on December 7

They replied -- Thank you for reaching out to COMC. I've learned from our accounts payable department that this check was shipped from our location on the 21st of December.

it's now January 11 and I've sent 4 e-mail. Still no response back. They just do not respond! I have asked if they have tracking, no response. I ask if the check has been cashed already, no response. It's like they know something is wrong but just won't tell me!

So my question is, has anybody else asked for a check and have it take longer than a month?

Expect timely shipping? They can't even acknowledge receipt of packages in a timely matter. Tracking shows delivery on Wednesday morning and here it is Monday and still nothing to show in pending submissions.

I think others have stated it takes about a week now.

I had an express mail ship that showed up there today. It's for elite service level. Guess it won't help if it sits there another week not acknowledged

I request a check every month and it usually arrives around 3 weeks after the initial request. I am on the east coast.

With the holiday mail delays involved, it most likely is just held up in a sorting center at this point. I would give it another week or two for the USPS to deliver it.

Not much COMC or you can do except be patient.

It takes 3-4 weeks.

What do you want them to tell you?

Either the check is lost or delayed somewhere. They have no way of knowing.
