So where are we at with Volpe? Full season, very unimpressive in my book.

Very simple. He has to learn to hit a curveball.

Should have picked Gunnar.

Seriously though. Not bad over all. Hopefully he learns to cut down his swing to make better contact and strike out less.

It’s good to see Wells adjusting to MLB pitching. Can’t wait to see what he does during a full season.

Although a disappointing season, glad Yankees finished over .500! Glad Boston Red Sox finished in last place! Looking forward to next season.

As much as I’ve tagged in NY I honestly think you guys have a bright future with that young talent. It reminds me alot HOF the 91-95 teams that added guys like Bernie, Paul O’Neil, Leyritz etc and of course Jeter being drafted along with Posada, Rivera, Pettitte. If they can develop some young arms to go with those talented players, NY should be on an upward trajectory. AL East could be fun the next 4-5 years with Orioles and their young team vs NY and Tampa

No Stanton is fine with me. This was the "we surrender" lineup.

Even my Orioles friends were complaining about going to the game yesterday at Camden Yards and they rested their starters. That, I can understand as they are in the playoffs. No reason for the Yankees not to play Judge and Torres at least.

I have posted Cabrera, Peraza, Florial, and Everson's minor league numbers multiple times in here and am still waiting someone to tell me what in those numbers tells us they should get more MLB plate appearances or that they should get any kind of playing time other than utility man.

I'm hoping Higgy is gone after this season. He or Ben needs to be traded.

The Twins must be breathing a huge sigh of relief right now over the Yankees miserable season. They actually have a chance to go further in the playoffs without getting crushed by the Yankees.

Boone is coming back apparently, which probably means Cashman is safe, no sense of urgency will plague this team until some heads roll.

That's why I think this "top to bottom review" by Hal is a farce. You can't have a review and say everything is on the table after you've already come out and said that your GM and Manager will be back next year. If it's truly an independent review from top to bottom, what happens if they place blame on both of those individuals? Sweep under the rug and pray the report isn't leaked?

So y'all still hate Boston more than Houston? I'm gearing up for a brutal month of watching Houston go to the WS again and its eating away my insides. Please someone beat them.

So no outside company audit now? I mean, I know I didn't need it to be done to tell us that their current analytic system isn't working anyway.
