I'm not a heritage guy but I'm a huge fan of these 2022 Black Chrome variants. Grabbed a Jake McCarthy one in a trade earlier this year. Very smooth looking cards.

I’ve been a big fan of heritage blacks since I jumped back in 6 years ago. The fact that heritage overall has lost some luster the last few years as pack odds have swelled…? Just makes what is essentially a case hit of a promising young player already slabbed mint for $25? Yes please. Broken record alert- great pickups as always slim!!

I’m not into too many newer sets. I like Heritage but the generic photos get really redundant. I started getting into to the Heritage Black Refractors. Lowish numbered but not crazy. I wish I had taken the plunge sooner. Probably 30-40% of my collection is pitchers but I think these are the only pitcher I have from the Heritage Black Refractors.

Time to shut Manoah down for a bit. Injury or not.

Yeah, I had a good feeling about him even before he got the call. I wasn’t sure about you Reds fans riding the Ashcraft train, but something about Abbott has me thinking he’s the real deal.

Ashcraft and Manoah seem to be having their own personal competition for who can disappoint me most this year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No, Manoah has already won it. Ashcroft would have just been an added bonus; Alex is an ace. Still sucks bc I drafted both of them this year

Manoah is definitely the winner, but honorable mention goes to Sandy Alcantara. At least his ERA is only over 5.00, and not 6.00… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Manoah is terribly out of shape and his conditioning seems worse as the season has went along. He sweats and really labors on the mound. He needs a mental break and come back about 25 pounds lighter. I know that’s a hot take but I think they need to do something to get him back on track.

For sure. He was FIRE yesterday. Haven’t seen 95 from him ever. But if he’s there consistently he will be a future cy young. Got my nephew a chrome orange Rc for his birthday. Was 20$. With Logan Allen and tanner Bibee finally in the mix and Williams waiting for Bieber to be traded to get his spot, Guardians are just 8 hitters away from a World Series run… Ok maybe 7. I picked up this guy today for $40. #7 draft pick in 2021 (Royals puzzled many teams by taking him #7 when he was projected late 1st round, early 2nd). He had a pretty meh 1st season of pro ball, but this year he's shown great improvement (albeit in low A ball). I guess he's on the injured list currently but only because he ran into his own teammate and it's not an arm issue. This kid threw 4 consecutive no-hitters in his senior season of HS ball (though against not great competition). Hoping he ages like fine wine!
