For everyone still asking questions about matching up certain cards with the proper size holders, see my thread below;

http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/f...ess-scale.html

Print the scale out @ 100%, and measure your cards thickness. Most cards on the market will fall into one of the thickness scales, and corresponding holder sizes.

Anybody know what the 2014 Notable Nicknames NT autos are? I've heard that they are super thick

I have had several people tell me that the 130 pt. Ultra Pro magnetics will be sufficient for most ANY thick NT card. (and most in general)

But I have noticed that occasionally one "super thick" card will just "happen".
Be it from a thicker patch, thicker layers to the card, or whatever reason.
So while the 130 pt magnetics should cover most, as with anything there seems to be the occasional fluky exception.

240pt, then you go up to some nebulous sizes like 7mm and 360pt.

59 pt are perfect for Topps Chrome in case anyone was wondering. For top loaders that is.

I've managed to get my Topps Chrome/Bowman Best cards into standard top loaders and 35 pt magnetics. The top loaders were sometimes a bit of a tight squeeze... Is it worth it to switch them to 55 pt top loaders? How much damage can be caused once they're in place? These are the parallels/autos.

Also, the magnetic seemed like a good fit, though I've since read about the dangers of scratching. Is it worth switching to another size even if they wont be moved much?

Edit: These are baseball cards, but should be sized the same, I would think.

I know it's baseball but what toploader would fit the relics from Allen & Ginter? 75 pt?

Do they make top loaders for the National Treasures Leather and Laces football cards? Or even one touches for these cards?

In my opinion, you want a little room. Why would you want the magnetic pressed down on the card? Over time, the card surface may get stuck to the plastic. Similar to what used to happen to old screw-downs. But if you want a magnetic that smashes your card, Pro-mold makes a 20pt magnetic.

Our 20 point is for regular trading cards, like Topps standard issue trading cards, that are 16-18 point. Our 20 point will not smash your card if you put the right cards in there.

For cards a little thicker than 20 point, we have a 50 point. A 35 point will hold up to two regular trading cards, and many collectors do not want their regular cards moving around that much, so that is why we have a 20 point that is much closer to a regular card size.

Well, yes, of course. That can be said for any magnetic. Most cards nowadays will not sit well in the 20pt. The 20pt seems more for the early era cards that were very thin. Modern cards, I would recommend 35pt or above.

And by the way, I wasn't bashing your company. I hope you didn't take it that way. I actually prefer Pro-Mold magnetics over Ultra Pro magnetics.

What size case do I need for a 2017 Preferred Booklet Bradshaw? Also, what are recommended sizes for 2017 Select base cards and jersey cards?
