Seem to be a new authentication company, anybody know anything about them?

they had a real nice Wentz mini helmet autographed, and the seller showed a picture of the Hidden Treasurers box, thought it came from there, but Wentz isn't on the checklist.

Says it was certified by PAAS.

any clues?

PAAS has been listed by eBay as a "At your own risk" authentication company and there are a number of reviews basically saying the guy, Mike Frost, takes money and hands out COAs. If you look up sold items with PAAS COAs it looks like many of the items sell for well below what they should.

I was going to buy that Wentz helmet, the seller even had the picture of the Hidden Treasures Tristar mini-helmets, and I know those are legit.

but in the checklist, there is no Wentz, and the COA is from PAAS.

Think the seller is trying to pawn it off as coming from that box, or maybe it's legit, I don't know.

Tri Stars checklists have been wrong before. According to the boxes of the 2017 Hidden treasures mini helmets, all autographs are certified through PSA/DNA or JSA

Edit: there's what appears to be a JSA authentication underneath the face mask in the picture

I looked at a couple more minis autographed by him and authenticated by PAAS. They look bad. Unless there's any evidence he changed how he signs Wentz, I'd avoid these.

Wentz is having a signing coming up in March, gonna try to get a mini helmet signed there.
