Let's see, a blog written by a 15 year old cavs fan who resides in Cleveland and just watched his hero win the city's first sports title 52 years AND it's called kingjamesgospel.com?

Seems legit. Lol.

there has to be some middle ground between being down 3-1 and on the verge of being 2-5 in the finals and looked at as an abject failure once again to the best player of all time after 3 great games.

Don't get me wrong... Lebron played great for 3 games and they won. Credit Lebron for what he did but that seems like a massive overreaction.

Everyone always says you're a hater yet it seems every generation has their own player they want to stack up against MJ. Sounds like some MJ haters to me. Hell, I'd hate to see this board if another player today set the scoring record, set the playoffs scoring record, went 6-0 in the finals, played the best on the biggest stage, game winners, relentless effort, 10 scoring titles out of 11 full seasons with the Bulls, 11 regular season and finals MVP's, defensive POY, 1st team all D every year.

Just seems a tad excessive to overlook that when someone turns it around for 3 games.

If that resume belonged to a new player then he'd be the best but since he already played then whoever is good now has to be better apparently.

When people start giving excuses as to why what did happen happened and the what ifs that would allow their player to be the best then that player is not the best.

PERIOD

I'm glad someone else understands Michael only played a little over 11 seasons for the Bulls. 6 for 6 out of 11.5 is pretty good

Yeah they always say he played 15 years to try and dilute his accomplishments but his 2nd year he barely played due to injury and the comeback from baseball was like 19 games or 25% of a season after not playing for a year and a half, then the 2 wizards years so it was 11 complete Bulls seasons.

And who the hell gives a crap? Did Lebron retire? Who the hell knows what will happen?

All we know is that he just beat the self proclaimed "Best" team in NBA history LOL

I don't hate him actually. I've said he could be anywhere from 2-8 all time and I would be fine with it. If saying he's the 2nd best ever arguably is hating him I guess I hate him.

I like him a lot better than you.

And there is no way on earth im the biggest Lebron hater on this board. Not possible.

You people are ridiculous. This is a post on an obvious fan site by someone that we'll never hear from again, yet you feel so upset by it that you have to make a thread and then defend it as if everyone actually feels the same way and there's an actual consensus on the issue not in your favor. Get over it. No one cares if completely irrelevant articles like this make you feel insecure about your favorite player.

Who's your favorite player? Mine is Larry Bird. I don't see me arguing for him here. I'm a basketball fan and I have common sense.

If you had common sense you would realise that a majority of people don't actually think that Lebron is better than MJ, and even if they did, who cares? There's no need to debate an article like this as if it's actually coming from any type of position of authority or influence.

Oh my bad man, I thought this board was where we could come and share our thoughts about the hobby and sport. Was I in the wrong place?

Or is there an approved list of topics that can be discussed only?

Your thoughts have been shared. In. Every. Damn. Thread. We all get it.

A relatively small group of people think Lebron is better than MJ, which a lot of people take grave offence to and feel it's their duty to educate said people at any opportunity as if it will actually change their minds. We get it.

Just so I understand the rules, Patriot and I are talking about topic x, you and Kristen have the chance to avoid said topic or just read it and move on yet you both decide it's better to freak out at me for stating my opinion.

You may be tired of my thoughts and that's fine. I encourage you to move on. Or try to get me banned or whatever you need to do to make yourself feel better.

You'll have to forgive my frustration and the constant glut of Lebron vs MJ debates. Especially when the talking point is something as obviously biased as the OP's article.
