That's what I was saying also last night. I want to see him on the debate stage at least. Anything can happen this election season, but he needs to get on the stage.

After the GOP circus convention and what's sure to be something similar with slightly nicer words used towards the GOP next week independents and undecideds will really be looking for another option.

The GOP party was completely changed this election season and now the 2 party system might be also. Talk about the chance to go from a super negative to a super positive.

He only had 6 quarters of job approval above 50%. And it was SLIGHTLY above 50%. Most recent is 50.9%. So yeah. Good job.

I guess this just speaks to how we all have differing opinions on things but none of these points are import/legitimate concerns in my opinion.

The US unemployment rate is already low at 5.5%. The complaint is that the jobs being added are low wage labor jobs. How will deporting a bunch of day laborers solve this?

The US is already difficult to immigrate to. Do you know that yuge number of Syrian refugees have taken in this year? 1,500. That 500% increase Trump talks about is a lot less significant when you realize the amount we currently take in is essentially insignificant.

Improve trade deals how? I hear about enforcing patent protections (which I agree with) but then he turns around and says the tpp is an awful deal when it's essentially a deal that was already in place with added patent protections. The reality is that US heavily protects industries such as farming and manufacturers to the point that employees get paid well beyond fair market value and when we open the borders, companies move to the more efficient country and vice versa. Jobs are lost in some industries and gained in others. Trump is either proposing an extension of these subsidies or we foolishly isolate ourselves from the world economy in the name of saving uncompetitive industries.

I'm not following the logic behind inexperience being beneficial but I guess it's a worldwide trend considering the UK just ignored those pesky economists for Brexit.

I actually like some of what Trump brings to the GOP but as long as he continues to use foreigners as some boogeyman to shoulder all the US's problems, he's going to rightfully be accused of instigating bigotry.

Totally agree with this. He's just fear mongering. He's simply capitalizing on the terrorist attacks around the globe to paint islam and muslims in general as terrorists and uneducated Americans are buying it.

Trump panders to the uneducated. Whether he actually believes the things he says or he just knows the demographic he's targeting is the real question.

Agree with the bolded. Trump's also fear mongering that migrant workers are somehow rapists, murderers, and drug dealers/mules. When in reality, those people are doing the low pay unskilled labor that no Americans actually want to do. I can't remember the last time I heard anyone say they were excited to go work in the fields or clean up disaster area hotel rooms. Then again, I don't speak Spanish...

Currently, I still have not decide what to do with my voting.

However, even I don't put my vote in, one of them will be the President. This part is not going to be changed. The country is heading to the wrong direction even before the election. Not looking good.

I probably agree with this. I put more of the blame on Congress than Obama though. I think we are going to see much of the same moving forward. The Dems and Republicans both need significant leadership changes in Congress before progress can be made.

They're all to blame. Though, remember Obama had a Democratic majority in both the House and Senate when he took office and still had a Senate majority until the last election.
