What do you guys think of the raid boss rotation?

I was really disappointed at first, even tho I've been asking for it for a long time, until I saw that Machamp, Tyranitar, Alakazam, and Gengar are staying. So I'm actually quite happy with it. I really like having Scyther and Golem, and Ivysaur as well because I'd like to get a maxed out Venesaur.

Not too bad, but I sure would have like to see Dragonite in there.

I was a little disappointed at first as well. But like you said, Machamp and Tyranitar are my 2 I chase currently.

But I do enjoy Porygon, Scyther a lot. And the main want was Golem (and dragonite) so Golem and Omastar are pretty nice.


Plus my new account needed Magneton, Porygon and some evolved forms.

If you want a maxed out Venesaur why didn't you just do Venesaur raids when they were out?


The new rotation is just a Band-Aid. I'm basically done with the game until Gen 3 comes out. They've done nothing to fix issues that need to be fixed. There's nothing else I even need in the game. It's all pointless to me right now lol.

Fair point lol.

I've done one Suicone raid so far and instantly deleted it for the double candy lol.

Someone in the Facebook lvl 40 group did 75 of them in one day. They caught 0 lol. All they do is go from raid to raid for XP and Items. They will do anywhere from 70-100+ Tier 5 raids a day in Toronto. They only try to catch if it's a 100% mon. Anything else they just run.

That's a lot of money lol.

Ive done 2 Suicune Raids, both back 2 back SAturday night. I wont bother with them unless I get a text where they need 1 Body to finish him off (to help out friends) or if we go out with our Pokémon Go Couple lol. Well hit a few raids and grab dinner afterwards.

Otherwise Ive really backed off since I hit 40, maybe 2-5 catches a day since lol. Doesn't help I lost my Plus clicker

wow 75 thats crazy. my friends did 36 last wednesday with a lunch break and tried to catch all of them. I've slowing down a ton mostly because i was vacation for 10 days in hawaii. Got quite a few Corsola so that was a nice perk. I was 2 mil short of lvl 40 on 10/16 and i'm still 450k away from lvl 40. So i could literally raid for a day and get there, but i'm in no real hurry, but pretty soon there are going to be sooo many 40s. i know so many lvl 39 players out there right now. i'm going to try and aim for wednesday or friday this week to hit lvl 40. I've actually been playing the pokemon go knock-off Draconius Go, and it is actually pretty fun. A ton of the features are so far ahead of pokemon go, but some of the mechanics like ball throwing are really hard. i mostly have to straight throw because the curved throws are super hard in the game.
Anyways, i'm going to grind hard to 40 in pogo and then possibly focus the rest of my non-raiding time to the other game. I did catch a perfect suicune on my 9th or 10th raid. It has a grass hidden power which isn't too bad. I'm trying to get one of each hidden power for fun, but they really serve no purpose since vaporeon is still a better attacker than suicune in this game.

Well, if this thread activity is any indication of the state of the game, I don't think it's going to last much longer.

Niantic NEEDS to release Gen 3 in full ASAP. So many people have dropped off of this game, and releasing 4-5 at a time is going to be incredibly damaging. I follow a bunch of the big youtubers (Mystic7, Trainer Tips, etc) and even they are not playing or posting much. A couple have basically completely stopped (Ali-A, Lachlan).

I was really excited for the later generations (Gen 6 in particular with my all time favorite Greninja) and Mega-Evolutions, but I just can't see the game lasting as long as Niantic will try to drag it out.

Now they're releasing a Harry Potter version of the game? Dividing the fan base is not going to be beneficial at all. I can see Pokemon Go dying out completely within the next 6 months if Niantic doesn't start listening to their users and getting their act together.

I've caught like 30 things in the past week since the event lol. We couldn't even get a group for 2 back to back ttars yesterday. They went after Suicone and Lapras...

Niantic needs to change a lot, and they need to do it quick.

I hit lvl 40 on tuesday. kind of a relief than anything. the last 1.5 mil was such a breeze. now i'm bored lol. harry potter go is going to totally destroy pokemon go. niantic can barely support pokemon go let alone supporting two big projects. It sucks but i hope gen 3 does come out and pogo keeps going, i'm not throwing more money by playing harry potter.... Draconius Go is actually quite fun though, i've been playing that when i'm not playing pokemon go.

I have ZERO interest in Harry Potter though, never read the books, saw maybe 1 of the movies (im 28) just never got my interest. But Draconius is still fun, I havent played much this week, but its something to load up daily for a min or two.

So i hear Niantic is only acting as a consultant for the HP game. I've invested too much into PoGo to let it go unless someone Niantic lets it die. I only a few more Suicune raids this weekend so I could get all the hidden powers and I did. So i ended up with at least 1 of each type. unless I don't find myself doing some solo raid or a ttar, i'll probably still do a suicune a day with my daily freebie. I got a shiny sableye the other day and it was almost a good iv (77.8). Went to a pikachu nest during lunch today, caught about 15 in the hour i was there, but no shinies for me. I think nests change this wednesday so i'll give it another shot during lunch tomorrow. Now that XP and raiding is no longer a top priority for me, i'm not sure what to do with myself in PoGo. I know i can always farm for dust, but it is kind of hard to get motivated. it may take the full release of Gen 3 to get me going again.

I didn't hate the Halloween event, just because it was nice getting double candy on Machamp and Tyranitar. But other than that, yea kinda boring.

The game Def needs a HUGE boost, my problem from the beginning was thinking this should be a 10 year game. I just think making it the best for 3 years would bring more money in than lasting 10 years.


So many things I would do different. More Raid Rotations, more events, more bonuses. Next Gen either a FULL RELEASE or 2 Partial Releases but not 5,10,2,4,21. 40/40 club that sh**

well we can only wait and speculate what kind of stuff is coming up. I'll be glad when suicune is gone to be honest lol. i really only do them with free passes now. It is incredibly rare to see ttar raids now. I feel like i might see 1 a day around me.

not sure what the thanksgiving event is going to be. it was double xp double dust last year. i'm guessing it'll be double xp since we haven't had one in a while. Everyone's going to be hitting 40 around me.

We should hit the 1st threshold today. I was hoping to have it around lunch time.

I'm getting as much work as possible done today so I don't have to do anything the next 2 days so I can catch and do a ton of evolve sessions at work lol. Gotta love when not a soul is here around this time of year.

My building is in a great spot for the game. Can reach 2 stops and a gym depending on where I go. Can always reach one stop from my desk.

Probably 7 spawn points always reachable too.
