I think the Sho hype even with an expected return to regular human statistics and feats will carry weight through the next couple weeks.

Hobby is now $167/auto
Jumbo is now $106/auto

The disparity still surprises me a bit but it is still less than the disparity for 17 Bowman so either the additional color or chase cards are that preferential or we are all bad at math.

Agree. It's going higher if O keeps it up. I don't think any of the wax other than HHN has caught up still.

So, is $70 a good price for retail 24-pack boxes?

It's OK. MSRP is $72 so if you can find it at Target after it releases and use discounts you might do better, but not a sure thing obviously.

There should be paper base and at least green refractors like 2017.

My only hope now is to get hobby boxes from Topps.com on release day (which hopefully will be cheaper than the current prices at BO or other competitors).
And to buy retail from Target if I can find any.

Someone on Blowout must have caught on to the price discrepancy between blasters and retail boxes. For a while there it was $10 cheaper to buy three blasters than a retail box.

It's not. That's just a word distributors use to make their customers believe that their hands are tied and that they have no choice but to cut orders. It's all a scam to hold more product and resell at a higher price later, which is NOT the role of a distributor. Production will be up 30-40% on Bowman like every other product this year and there will be plenty to go around, just sitting in warehouses being sold one case at a time at crazy prices.

Yea. Apparently the hardest basketball to get was Prizm and in baseball it was Topps Chrome which I heard was only allocated to past customers who bought and it was limited to past orders. I am hearing we should expect the same type of allocation with Bowman Chrome, not sure about Draft.

In any event, with the top rookies, future breakouts and a few guys who will likely miss the Bowman cut and be held back for Chrome there will be another blood bath in September.

Yea mostly this. But there is a balance they have to be careful about. Not likely they will have the problem this year but if they are wrong they get stuck with a ton of inventory. So they wanna take care of past customers and then bump prices as if they had to rebuy once they were out of stock.

This wasn't purchased from BO right? This was from your own distributer? Because I purchased a few jumbo cases back in like Decemeber, for around that price, and I paid in full immediately, I am starting to worry that I wont get them because now of these prices being so crazy!!!

BO always comes through - you have nothing to worry about.

wait - are you saying you bought from BO or a distrib? i may have misread your post.

Bought it from BO, and instead of doing a down payment, I paid in full immediately.

What will Topps list Hobby boxes at on April 25? I assume under $100 per box. One thing is for sure, the boxes will be gone in under 60 seconds. Wish they could list more than the usual supply.

No, unfortunately it wasn't.

They listed Tribute at $350. They might have realized how low their prices were compared to market

I thought about the same thing, and checked what they had listed the 2018 Heritage hobby box for earlier today.
It was $85.
I hope they stay consistent with that.
That's the only way I'm getting hobby box of Heritage High and Bowman this year.
