I only have money for one. Is one release better than the other or does it just depend on the year? I would aprecciate your opinions - even the funny sarcastic ones.

I prefer topps chrome. Topps chrome tends to have more valuable non auto rookies than bowman.

I think I’m gonna try and build a base set of TC this year.

BUT... stay far far far far away from wax... stick to singles. You will be WAY happier.

Remember last year? it's JUDGE... it's BELLINGER... it's BENINTENDI... OH S**T... we totally forgot about the 83 other scrub RCs that will fill these cases.

Same thing will happen this year... and next year. Stick to singles.

If looking to get best "probable" value on your purchase, TC easily because of rookie cards value, and possible big name auto.

But best "possible" value is definitely with BC and the chance to pull the hot prospects 1st bowman auto, if not a refractor parallel!

But safe bet is clearly with TC.

As others have said, TC for the rookies. And this year, with Gleyber, Acuna, Ohtani, and hopefully Soto amongst others, should be a huge release. BC is a lottery ticket.

I think this years rookie class would put TC over BC for risk/reward. High gamble at these prices either way. Good luck!
