Yeah, year one was king.

Let's be honest, though: that's every insert set Panini has done. Make something collectable that appeals to the 90s insert heads, and spend the next 10 years subtly stripping it down until its eventually a rusted hulk sitting on cinderblocks.

Also, this deserved to be packed out (and maybe it still will be?) instead of used as a Points product. The reason I buy certain boxes is for the insert chases. Lame.

What started as Prizm White Sparkle has devolved into this mess.

Also, spare me the parallels. Serial numbering SSPs is sacrosanct!

I don't understand why they are all called "Kaboom"

I honestly can't tell the difference between any of them because they all look the same. 3-4 years of the exact same insert.

I would think that one person at Panini with a half a brain cell could do something to make them different every year.

I assume these are influenced by some of the old comics/Batman stuff.

How cool would it be to do something different every year.

that's the big question. I can see these flopping and going for $50 a pack with buyers not paying close to what case hit Kabooms go for, or them being really nice cards, strong checklist, and sps and going for $100+.

Those are the top basketball ones I see. I dont know the other sports but I'd imagine Brady and some of the top soccer guys will sell well too. With those being my expected prices I'm willing to take a gamble. Also nothing ever interests me on Rewards.

Since all of the soccer players were in the kaboom set within select outside of Mbappe, I really only see his going for huge demands. You really think the Tatum base will only go for ~150, i was thinking about double.. If i can get one eventually for around $100 i will definitely try.

The 1st few will probably go higher but I think there'll be a mini-flood of these as they'll pretty much all be ripped at the same time, and you'll see some reasonable prices. I'm going to be in the market for a Curry Gold, hopefully I can pull one!

Neymar doesn't sell as well as Messi or Ronaldo but he doesn't have a Kaboom either.
