The Carter Kieboom Thread

I don't know if he's going to get a chance to play every day in the bigs this season, or if he'll be any good if he does, but I've spent the off-season amassing a variety of Kieboom cards in the hopes he can live up to potential.

The Nationals should sign Donaldson to bat behind Soto. Then Kieboom probably gets squeezed back to AAA until Kendrick breaks down? I'm optimistic Kieboom has a good spring, earns a full time job at second, and gets to talk hitting with Josh Donaldson.

Show us what you got. Here's my pile before I shipped some off for grading.

Though I would bet you will be disappointed In the return. If this is an investment. If just a PC then that's always good

Hopefully he gets a full year in his age 22 season and puts together a good .800+ OPS season and a a crazy 2 weeks where hits the cover off the ball. If not and he goes back to AAA the ship will have sailed. Even if he comes back in 2021 and is a all-star the hobby will have officially wrote him off. Its all about momentum with this game.

I've been picking up Kieboom this offseason. All of these have been sent to jewcers PSA subs (2 of those HHN Blacks graded PSA 10 but that's all I've got back so far). Have some more that I sent to PSA and didn't scan them (the shame) but I'll scan them when they come back

Very nice! I have boxes of Kieboom, I started collecting him just after the 16 Draft. He was the guy I just kind of picked to PC. I'm still optimistic on him, but I agree, it's this year or never on his card values at least. I bought most of mine in 16-17 when he was cheap. I did pick up quite a bit in group breaks this year, including a sapphire Auto /10. Here are a few favs I had in a graded box here close. - Red 1st Bowman /5 ....17 Draft Super... Heritage 1/1 thru Base card all PSA 10

Yes I've been picking up all that I can! I've got 10% of the transcendent RC's too. I like to have a guy to go all OCD over during the offseason and this was my pick this year. He's relatively inexpensive, still considered a "prospect" and on a team who has a little buzz going for them right now.

I'm missing everything from TCU so far, but I've been focusing on Update and HHN RCs, and looking for low #'d RC parallels from other Topps brands.

I have a #1/1 Gold Label, a #/5 Sterling non-auto, and a #/15 Green Five Star auto - some of my favorites. Sorry I don't have pics handy...

Honestly I'd wait until spring training started. He will get a little hype from all the top prospect lists that come out in Feb and then a little more hype during ST especially if he performs well.

Ur prolly the one that scooped the sky blues out from me on eBay. But dude that’s a whole bunch of Ka-Boom. Being that I’m at quite a few games every year I’d love to see him play again and get another chance
