Ok so what’s the deal with 1989 Score Barry Sanders PSA 10’s?

Been wanting one for a while and was gonna pull the trigger on one with a buy it now at $425 the other day with 10% eBay coupon, but I thought to myself surely these aren’t going to go higher and I can get one for cheaper sooner than later...

Guess I was wrong. Not only did I miss out on the $425 buy it now, last two have sold for $449, $455 and $613. Although I can’t count the $613 sale because it was probstein lol

Geez this card $300-350 card a month ago

Who’s buying these up especially right now?

I mean in such a volatile card market this is one of the few cards I actually see increasing in price during this epidemic.

Something odd during this whole Corona thing is, online sales have been strong for me. I have literally Sold every item I have put up FS said one. I think people are home, online and need something to do, thus maybe the opposite of what some thought would happen.

I would try and get one with an older label, not a recent PSA 10 so there's much less chance it's one of those trimmed or altered cards....

I bought one in October for around $320 and it was selling around there up until the last couple weeks when it started appreciating.

There was a ridiculously shilled one being sold by probstein that was at $799 (!!!) with many days left in the auction last time I checked. Not sure if that was taken down or if it’s still up.

This won't be popular, but buy a good looking 9 and save yourself a ton of money for the same quality card. I have it in a SGC 9, the card looks great.

I could use a little boredom. I work in IT and I have been slammed all week. I am hoping now that we got all of our software out that is needed for support at home, it will slow down next week.

The not leaving the condo is a bit much though.

I think the $613 is legit unless guy just doesn't want to sell it. But wouldn't take $600 for PSA 10 Sanders. I bid $603 with 3 seconds left and had winning bid. Then the dude outbid me somehow or put in a higher at same time because with less than a second left I was outbid. That Sanders was probably the best looking psa 10 I've seen. So I was happy to pay a premium.

This card is simply undervalued. Just no idea why all of sudden they are getting scooped up. It is probably Gary Vee's team. Gary loved junk wax era cards. So makes sense he would scoop these up.

Yeah you can. One for $495 but not quite as nice. I said screw it and bought a bbce wrapped box for $450. Lots of fun cards to open 89 score. Avg 1.67 Barry's per box
