I had to look up Willie Lanier. I had heard the name, but didn't really know anything in depth about him.

It seems like the first and last 7 picks of each round go the fastest since owners know that they’re coming up again soon. I feel like the mid round owners are the ones who never know if they’re going to up in an hour or a day.
Maybe the mid round guys could start working with FBHobbies via text? I get that some people want to just let things roll, but even a single owner regularly taking the full 12 hours is the difference between this thing dragging on an extra two weeks. Or another way of looking at it, for every owner who regularly takes 6 hours to get their pick in, we add an extra week to this draft. |

Or they could send a master list to FBHobbies and when it’s their turn to pick FBHobbies can just draft their highest rated available player.

Like I said, people can PM me or I can give em my cell. A few people in this draft I already have their cell, so I let them know when they are up or if they send me their pick

Yeah I want to out him next to Deacon Jones. Some many people went high on RBs that I need two guys to plug up the middle

That's who I was going to take! Give me minute here... I even uploaded a picture of him to my flickr to post a picture of him with his black face paint. Nicely done.

I guess I took Deacon and Randle from you lol. I'm guessing our drafting strategies are near the same.

Y’all took all my defensive linemen. That’s why I picked the guys I did. Had to make up for it somewhere.

I will refrain from naming some of the other amazing-but-overlooked backs from his era, but I will point out some other long-forgotten guys (who no one will be drafting, so this should be ok) like Napoleon Kaufman, Rodney Hampton, and Duce Staley. It always seemed like Duce Staley averaged 8 yards a carry against the Cowboys. |
