Over the last 30 years, how much more money has been thrown at education in hopes of results? The problem is we have become lazy and the drive isn’t there.
Military spending is just as big of a waste as education or any other kind of spending. And the solutions are much easier. For politicians and the voting public it’s really all about waste/entitlements you like vs those you don’t like.

Just to be clear I do not believe the stronger opponent is always the best person for the job. What I mean by that is they manage the campaign better. So supporting the stronger opponent may not always be a good thing. These races are often more about ground game and execution than they are about substance. Both parties spit the same rhetoric every campaign cycle. Some master the language better, deliver the message stronger, and build the right network to get people to the polls, others do not.

As I previously said the demographic would have been influenced by various reasons to support Trump. Yes some of them were strictly - Not Hillary. Some good, some bad, ect.

Hillary out spent trump in the election.

It's the reason why I said it was stupid when dems said Bloomberg was buying the election. Hillary spent more on the election and still lost

and execution than they are about substance. Both parties spit the same rhetoric every campaign cycle. Some master the language better, deliver the message stronger, and build the right network to get people to the polls, others do not.

Agreed but this doesn't have much to do with "less educated" people. I think you are backpedaling because you realized you made a lot of assumption off of not much substance. Getting your point across is what gets you your votes. If people don't understand your platform why would they vote for you.

As I previously said the demographic would have been influenced by various reasons to support Trump. Yes some of them were strictly - Not Hillary. Some good, some bad, ect.

Again I agree but how does this do with "less educated"
Point I'm making is people like yourself just like to say Trump won the "less educated" vote because you can't accept that you lost the election. There needs to be a reason why your "superior intelligence" was wrong. What I'm saying is most people actual care about substance and don't play identity politics like yourself. Trump pushed for a lot of platforms that were consistent with base and won the election. It's not because they were "less educated"

But, but, but....Don't you want to be well-rounded? That is the argument I remember hearing the most when questioning why I had to take some of the classes I had to take. If I could do it all over again, I would had become a plumber.

I think you may be making some assumptions here. I do not support either of these garbage parties or their empty platforms. So yes I lost but not because Trump beat Hillary, but because it was Trump vs Hillary, just like this time I will lose again (as will the Country) because it is Trump vs Biden.

I said what I said because Trumpers are fun to jab at, they certainly are not shy doing so and quite frankly that is fine with me. I don't take this all that seriously. I enjoy the discussion and hearing different perspectives and the back and forth keeps it entertaining.

Also yes I believe that if you believe Trump knows more about war than our Generals and/or he knows more about the virus than experts....there is and educational gap with reality.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...relief-package

Among it’s key provisions, the bill would give about $1 trillion in aid for state and local governments. Of that, $500 billion would be targeted to states, $375 billion to localities, $20 billion to tribal governments and $20 billion to territories. An additional $90 billion would go to states through education grants.

Democrats also propose providing $1,200 in cash payments to individuals and $1,200 for dependent children -- up to $6,000 per household -- at a cost of $599 billion. The bill would make dependent children up to the age of 24 eligible for payments, responding to complaints that college students were left out of the earlier round. It would also allow undocumented immigrants to receive payments.

The legislation also would extend a $600 weekly increase to unemployment insurance into next January.

I am not a Trumper by any means. That being said making a poorly correlated statement between "less educated" and that having some indication why they voted for him besides policy is just stereotyping. I can easily say people who ride welfare support democrats since they give them handouts. How does those statements better anyone? But go play your identity politics and claim to be neutral. You are as transparent as trumps twitter feed.

Yes I dislike Trump. I am generally moderate. Socially I lean left, fiscally more right. I support neither party as they have both moved to far to the extreme for me. The inability to compromise at all in any meaningful way drives me insane.

I agree. Not a massive fan of Trump. Don’t think he’s cut taxes enough

Also I don’t like that he’s not forcing the states to open

I was not aware that the intention of this political thread on a sportscard forum was to better people. I will keep that in mind in the future.

If you want to believe voting is all policy based that is an opinion you are allowed to have.

Cuomo - What word can I use today as a catchphrase that'll keep me in the news?

Cuomo's publicist - Boondoggle.

Cuomo - Ok. Got it.
