The only true RPA's in this picture are the last two on the bottom right. One is regular, one is FOTL. Is this is really more difficult than National Treasures various autograph+material cards or the numerous RPA variations? Its tough to choose Immac vs Flawless, but for me just on eye appeal the Immaculate cards are prettier. Wish Panini didn't make us choose between Game-worn vs true RPA but it is what it is.

Well, you just showed all versions of "Immaculate Auto" when we were talking about RPAs specifically. It would be like if I just showed everything that came up by typing in "Luka Doncic Donruss Optic" without filtering out inserts, regular Donruss, autos, etc.

The "true RPA" is the one with the RC badge. I agree that the other version is more visually appealing, but I'd also argue that Prizm base RC are ugly, and NT horizontal RPAs are more visually appealing than verticals for the same reason. It's just how it is though.

I think we veered off topic, but my point about the relative pricing of base RC PSA 10 vs #2 RPA (arguably #2 overall Luka card to own) is out of whack, and reflects the stupidity in the current market

THANK YOU, that was my point. Nothing against the above poster who put this image out, but there are only 2 there with the RC logo. The others are inserts.

Very smart thing to do imo! I remember back in September 2018 - January 2019 I bought 2 Lebron Topps RC, Topps Chrome RC, Bowman Chrome RC, 3 SP Signature RC #/499 and other RCs and they have exploded! I'm just kicking myself for not buying more...

NT /99 was in the $8-$12k range.

Fair enough. I may have veered the topic into including the autos with the RPAs because I think both are confusing. As someone who knows very little about NT, Flawless, Immac but is pretty versed in nearly everything else - entering the Immac autos and RPA world is confusing enough that I'd most likely look elsewhere to spend my money.

And despite me not knowing anything about Immac, I agree that the valuation is completely out of whack - especially in comparison to Prizm. Just crazy.

Evening Blowout,

Wanted to show off one of my prized PCs.

Here we have a Doncic rookie year Upper Deck Diamond Dealer Exclusive Card. Every year Upper Deck has a 3 day conference for shop owners - Last year, in 2019 We had gone. There was if I'm not mistaken about 1000 people. Each were given a "black box" that included some exclusive cards. My partner got Tiger Woods & Laine has his 2 big ones. Mine was Serena Williams & Luka. Now, we watched about 35 other boxes being opened & I never Saw another Luka.

It's not numbered, and while mine is clearly graded (May 2019), BGS & PSA do not have this card on their pop report. So, quite frankly it could be a 1/1 for all I know.

I'm curious as to what's everyone's thoughts on it? I PC Luka - it'll never leave, but I'd like to know value-ish.

Its a revered set thats rare enough and has been around since 2009. Its also usually the 1st RC auto available of a player. Yes the design is uninspiring but it grows on you, I guess.

For Luka its his only in person auto in front of Panini. Due to the on going discussion of his auto, I feel his Next Day is way undervalued. I don't own one, but if I was looking to add an auto it would be this one.
