I certainly do not dispute that. I just think the argument gets played out a bit. Talk about playing the role of a victim.

Conservatives have the same ability to create social media platforms and media outlets as anyone else.

It's unfortunately that any have such political slants but with the $$ involved in politics this should not be surprising.

Here's the thing with CNN, and I give them props.

They use to be pretty trustworthy, I went to them for the news. It always seemed like MSNBC was left, CNN was middle, and Fox News was right. They built up their database and then went hard left, NASCAR style. Now, people still believe them as news but they aren't anymore. It's all opinions.

Apply that to Donnie Dementia. He calls them fake news. John Bolton even wrote that Trump stated that journalists should be executed because they are scumbags.

Be truthful, be sincere, be respectful and you will most likely get the same treatment back. It may not always be nice but if it is a reputable media source, it would be fair in the criticism.

If the media simply reacted to Trump, it'd be different. But that hasn't been, or currently is, the case.

If it was the media reacting to Trump, and not the other way around .. and the media didn't continually take things into their own hands .. you would have a point.

And sports journalism vs. political journalism is not really comparable. The money and power involved .. the influence .. It's ratcheted up times a million.

It's no different than someone constantly getting in someone's face .. Then they get punched in the face in retaliation and say.. "You should've been respectful towards me!"
