Option one. I don’t give a rip about the value.

I never will, and never is a very long time.
I don’t doubt it for the earlier cards, 100%....same on my end.

haven’t received the Don C Ripken yet- is the print quality as bad as the Thomas?

If the Don C cards actually had some sort of chrome treatment or embodiment like they appear to in the pictures they’d probably be some of my favorites in the set. I was not expecting that flat, photocopied look when I initially ordered

It’s a silver-ish Thomas. Doesn’t pop at all.

I have to admit, I bought one of the don c Thomas cards on the off-chance that don c would just flake on the whole project and only do one card. It just seemed that way given how artists work and how far behind he was. That, and the small possibility that it might be a foil card. Now I’m stuck with it, and after seeing it in-hand, it deserves all the criticism you guys are throwing.

Ruby Keeler in Dames (1934). Once you see it, you will never unsee it.
That was a trip. Busby was ahead of his time, although if that was made in 2020 it would all be done in CGI, which is a shame.

Not cool to bash specific cards while the artist is actively posting in the thread IMHO.

Don C, its not your fault that topps printed your cards on construction paper instead of foil.

Keep up with the juicing, gardening, and posting in this thread. Appreciate you!!

The ongoing joke is you pretending to not be Don C.

I've been watching a lot of your instagram stories and truly appreciate the holistic lifestyle you're promoting.

He wants you to think he's not Don C. Coming in here all cool with his hot takes on art and a good story about how he used to collect and this project is bringing him back in. He even used a pseudonym when he bought some cards from me. But I'm on to him.

I don't. But I do like to create new ones. How much do you spend at Lapstone & Hammer each year??

So... anyone with nifty tricks on getting today's PR? Seems like Sunday PRs are bleeding over to Monday consistently now.

Someone had a thing where you go to an old PR and just change the artist and player names on the URL, and voila!

Try it!!

I mostly just like that they give back a bunch and try to keep things local when possible.

And in terms of what? At Lapstone? Stores? Restaurants? In general? Hit the PM if you want, happy to give you my opinions.
