It kills me that the Phoenix silvers don't say "Prizm" on the back. Making it pretty hard to distinguish between base and silvers with so many really bad pictures on listings.

Walked into target yesterday and saw a somewhat disappointing Site. Not sure what to think of it...but to the right of the pretty much barren card section was 2 hand-cart target bins. And these were FULL of 3 different packs. All topps series 2, score, and prestige football with a few prism baseball packs too. All packs that hang usually. Almost seems like someone grabbed everything out back and dropped it for somebody to rummage thru. I looked and of course no chronicles or chrome. Just weird....never seen that before. Literally 200 packs in target carts just chillin. All mediocore stuff tho...just not looking good for a mid-week stock. This was monday at like 6 pm. Hopefully workers/vendor just clearing older stock?? Odd nonetheless. Never even seen a 1/4 of that amount on shelf or racks. And piles of it. But only those 3 mentioned above...rough

There's no way that a green Zion combined with the rest of the cards in your hanger did not recover $10. That is already almost covering it right now and values will go up as supplies go down.

I guess i could get my $10 back if I sold a bunch of the other cards for a $1. Which is way more trouble than it's worth.

But ripping this stuff at 4x SRP can be really really painful.

Just got my first Flux card in hand and you know what...

It's still super uggo. My goodness. Am I supposed to put on some 3d glasses to look at the card?

It's a Bronze Flux Luka.

Finally got lucky and ran into the rep today. Think this is the first stocking of chronicles in my area based off fb marketplace being empty last week. Was able to scoop up some chrome too. PNW

Chronicles hit Canada today. Retail available in Alberta and Ontario at least. Got a nice score in Edmonton.

Something weird is happening at the Targets around me...

3 of them were restocked today and none had any sports cards AT ALL

I’m talking fully stocked to the point there was no room left for any sports cards

2/3 of them got chronicles last week

A 4th one wasn’t stocked but there was a sign implying they don’t carry sports cards anymore and don’t know when the vendor comes to stock trading cards. This one was stocked with a bunch of chrome and some prestige last week

Anybody experiencing something similar?

It may be ugly, but that is still a pretty big card. Only 1 has been listed thus far.

Thats surprising actually. I have opened 4 blasters and I have hit three silvers (Tacko Fall Silver Prizm, Tyler Herro Crusade Silver, Nickeil Alexander-Walker Crusade Silver). The only blaster I didn't hit a silver in was the one that had an auto in it. I guess I'll find out if it was a fluke when I end up cracking the 3 blasters I have remaining.

You opened one hanger box...all those guys pulling 12 Zions in 8 packs are not telling you about the other 50 packs they opened that had nothing good. Whenever you’re opening retail (of any product), you need to open a ton to hit some good stuff. So far, I opened 2 fat packs, 1 hanger, and 1 blaster, and I pulled 8 Morant cards and zero Zion. I also opened one hobby box and got 4 Zions, including a base Flux and Hometown Heroes Blue /99.

Employees might be getting sick of being asked about when the guy shows up. I also caught the excel rep on Friday, asked if he had any basketball and he said yeah, some employees want some too. So, they might have something going on with the rep. There’s also a second spot for cards usually in the toys section. Not all of the second spots put sports cards there tho, usually just Pokemon, but one of my regular targets where I work puts some back there

Na there’s a couple around me that give in demand sports to guest services, but I asked and they didnt get any

Last week I caught chronicles plenty but it’s just extremely weird that the exact stores where I got it, this week there’s no sports at all. I would get if there was no chronicles only but they had baseball or football. That would mean someone beat me to it or it’s backdoored but Idk how to explain what’s going on.
