Well it didn't really matter as they were too stupid to take advantage of it.

They couldn't replace ACA during all that, they couldn't get the votes for the border wall money, they couldn't do immigration reform like they promised.

Same reason the Senate couldn't even pass a GOP stimulus bill, because there was too much of a difference amongst the GOP to get that stuff done.

It is possible to be conservative and dislike Trump.

Moreover, if I am annoying Trumpers, I consider that a good thing.

Even more important, radical Trumpers aren't even a little bit scary. They're hilarious. It's the normal Trumpers that I find scary...and we don't have to worry about anyone "normal" parachuting into our cities.

I think she is being honest about her political position. Just because she may be bashing trump or republicans more often doesn't mean she is automatically liberal. I have noted before that for myself I am not a die hard liberal, no matter what my posts may lead you to believe. I am a moderate that leans to the left due to social issues. I used to just feel Democrats and Republicans had different viewpoints on certain issues. There are things I disagree with the democrats on, or at least would like them to alter their position on. But over the last decade, and especially over the last 4 years, the GOP has been out of control in regards to cheating and continuing to support Trump and that is why I call them out on it. If any other Republican was president I may disagree with them on certain positions but I would not hate them like I do Trump.

Honestly the R or D label doesn't really apply - most Americans live close enough to the middle that we should all just call ourselves moderates.

Most people use the R/D to make themselves feel better about not knowing who they vote for - much easier to vote a party line than spend the time learning the candidates and making an informed decision. From my experience, it's always fun to ask people why they voted for specific candidates.

I think we should get rid of the parties in whole - especially in positions where political affiliation has no bearing on your ability to do a job (sheriff, conservation districts, trustee positions, school boards, etc.).
