Because of his policies. They have helped a lot of people out.

Also, there is nothing wrong with guns.
1. Remove the comma here or it just seems like you are contradicting yourself.
2. The only thing wrong with them is the quantity and capacity.

It is absolutely shocking to me that almost 50% of the adult population of the USA thinks logically and critically about the simple fact that Donald Trump has been a good president. While I understand that no matter who runs for office there will always be a small percentage who support him but 50%? Half?!?!?! Is it education? socio-economics? racial? cultural? geographic? historical?

From what I can see Donald Trump is a criminal con-artist who has convinced Americans to vote against their own self interest. It's almost becoming cult-like behaviour.

And on the flip side - what's with all the guns? I don't get the carrying of automatic assault rifles to political rallies? Seems so bizarre and foreign to me.

Hopefully my post hasn't broken any forum rules but I really am interested in the reasons.
I'm not going to defend Donald Trump. He is a con artist. As a Republican I shudder to think that he represents(ed) my values.

As for guns I am a staunch 2nd Amendment defender and I always will be. Guns frighten me. I have shot one gun in my entire life and that was enough for me. However it is a fundamental right as designated by our forefathers. If you want to own a gun for any reason within the law I am all for it. Own as many as you like. It's in the Constitution, the most important document in our nations history save for of course the Declaration of Independence.

Seriously? C'mon.

Again, you're choosing to ignore data and justifying your nonsensical stance by imposing impossibly high standards. At least be honest about it.

Nothing will ever be good enough for you unless it fits into your narrative. If by this time you still refuse to accept everything that's out there, you'll never be satisfied.

I suspect if God himself came down from wherever he is and handed you the information, you'd still find a way to justify dismissing it.

But hey, it's a free country.

I have looked for them. I just cannot find one. If I can find one, or if someone can provide me one, great! I do believe that me wearing a mask may protect you, but may affect me more.

I can say the same thing about Joe Biden he is a criminal con artist who has done nothing but work for his personal agenda and his own parties agenda for nearly 50 years. Show me any of these lifetime politicans have done for the country? I will say nothing as they have all worked just to make themselves rich and powerful.

What have you done to serve our nation? Stack it up to what he's done. I'll be waiting to see how it compares.

This is literally me lol. I hate guns but the 2nd amendment is the 2nd amendment. I won't probably own one, but part of me feels safer knowing that others are trained to use them.

Sorry I have seem the dems act so nasty the last 4 years calling people on the right every name under the sun. Now they are in power they are saying end the hateful comments. So it's ok for them to make them but now they say it should not be said about them?

I am there as well, I just think they doesn;t need to be the amount of them out there. Want one for personal protection? Fine with me. Want one to go hunt with? Fine with me. No ordinary citizen should ever have the need to own a machine gun, AR-whatever. Its like we are just going to be one-upping ourselves until we all have some sort of personal nuclear device.

So, if EVERYONE had an N-95 mask, we should be opening up. Let's get them out there!

If everyone had a supply of N95s, it’d be great. But in a crunch, I imagine a basic surgical mask or even a homemade cloth mask would be more effective than none at all.

So you just rail against masks because you have yet to see an article stating they are effective? All because they make your face hot?

So you don’t actually live in the United States permanently? That’s good, at least you had the stones to move out of a country that embarrasses you.

If you hate our politicians and government so much, find a new place to live. They are public servants, becoming a career politican is tough. Think about how many professional athletes we have. It's a much tougher road to go that way, with lots of personal sacrifice. That they accumulate wealth is okay with me as long as it's done above board. I'd much rather having someone getting $30 million to serve our interests than to watch someone make $30 million to score a bucket/goal.

I'm old enough to remember when the Republicans called Hillary a sore loser because she waited until the morning after the election to give a concession speech

It's funny to me when people from other countries presume to judge others based on their opinion and what they hear from the media. The American media portrays Donald Trump as a racist, bigot, criminal so therefore it must be true.

Trump's biggest flaw is his ego. Was he a philandering immoral man years ago? Sure, but who am I to judge someone's character years ago? Is he today? Not so sure and quite honestly I don't care, I care about his policies. People in this country gave Kobe a pass, Tiger, Bill Clinton, Jay Z for all cheating yet Trump is the immoral one? sure...wtfever. Hypocrites the lot of them.

Donald Trump is no racist or bigot imo but sadly in our country that is the media's playbook. The politician you like is a racist and a bigot and if you vote for him/her you are a racist and bigot. They don't realize they are the bigots as they hate anyone who disagrees with their agenda and this is why Trump is so hated but he is a populist and fights for the blue collar worker and that is why he is so loved by 50% of the country.

You also have to remember if COVID never happened this election would not have been as close I'd bet and Trump would have most likely got the popular vote as well as the win. COVID beat Trump, Biden just got lucky his buddies in China released a virus on the world.

I could just as easily ask you why so many in your country voted for that absolute lefty nutter Justin Trudeau who actually believes we shouldn't use gender pronouns and got a pass from the left for wearing black face.
