Sweeping generalizations much. Also, capitalism. Kudos to them if they are up at ungodly hours to beat the masses to buy product, they earned it.

I won’t say you’re wrong but the typical pattern with target .com is that there are at least some in store sightings before a product hits the site.

The #1 issue right now is the bots. The bots are the reason we can't just have everything online. You want to talk about greedy and selfish. A bot could make any amount of money and they will never quit. Have you ever heard of a bot quitting? I haven't. $1 million, $10 million, $1 billion it doesn't matter. Bots are the ones that are the scum of the earth.

I'm never gonna be the person that gets to these stores at the earliest in lines 10-12 hours before 8 am. But at least to get that advantage these guys gotta show up super early every week. A bot user once their bot is up has to do basically nothing. You've seen the KSR and all that crap on twitter. Thousands of boxes on every drop. Zero effort. Millions upon millions of profit in the last year. If not billions. All from an unfair advantage no normal person can beat. There have been countless drops that bots have taken every single box before a normal user can get 1 single order in. Do you know a single person that has got a worthwhile release from walmart.com in 6+ months? That's because virtually every box is being botted. To make it even worse a normal user like myself has been blocked 3 different days while trying to buy from Panini store the last 2 weeks. So now there are times where I can't even buy online like most normal users and bots.

Vast majority of people on here could care less. All this thread has turned into is people complaining about the lines at the stores. While nobody cares about the bots. Probably because so many people are botting now.

The biggest problem is buying products on the secondary market if people stopped joining breaks and buying the product and boycott it we would see a correction but we know thats not happening so its not going to change

A lot of truth here. Some stuff just wrong tho. Botting is not easy. Ever. Also, if target/Walmart really wanted to stop bots they could. They are multi billion dollar companies. Some people are more skilled working connections/relationships, some people are better behind a computer. Adapt or get left behind.

Well thought out.

Very myopic, just like the scalpers.

Did you miss out on getting a bot?

I know nothing about getting a bot. But somehow Topps and Panini have identified my IP as a bot countless times. So there have been times my slim chances have gone to zero thanks to their systems of bs. What's ridiculous about the Panini blocks recently is basically anyone can tell you what products and cards are botted now. Panini can see whose accounts got these orders and the order times. Optic Premium sets every set botted. Almost all the UFC memberships were. 2020 Mosaic and Prizm football white sparkle packs. Optic football white sparkle packs bought without points. Any card or box that is underpriced. Certain items you can tell on the time bought on the order that it is impossible for a non bot to have placed the order. On the order page it has your order down to the second not the minute. Obviously if an account has several of these or somehow got multiple orders in on one of these things it has to be a bot. But of course an account like mine that has none of these suspect orders is one that gets blocked.

That is frustrating. It’s basically volume. A botter will have 30, 40, 50 accounts on a release. And these companies aren’t manually checking each order, so no way to stop them. They do cancel quite a few, but a lot get through.

Botting is easy. That doesn’t mean there isn’t some effort involved. It’s just not much effort.

But let’s call it like it is. You bot.

The fact that you so adamantly talk about how easy botting is proves you don’t know anything about it.

So a random ? when does your walmart stock? in my town it is thursday or friday. There are 4 within 30 miles. Always at least 5 others to share with. I am so envious of the people who only have to share with like 1 other person in your secret small town.

If I really wanted to, I could probably pay a huge premium fee to get into the bot game, and literally set it up to buyout what I wanted. It's easy if you just throw money into it, buy what you want and resell for profits to make back first the bot fee, and then for yourself.

And no, Target or Walmart don't care about stopping bots to be honest. Their #@#@#@#@ sells, they move on. No point in developing anti-botting system for minimal profits for the stores on these items.

I mean, they could go ultra gung ho and make it so you can only purchase 1 sku online, and you can't link one credit card to multiple accounts, etc.

I would respond more in depth to this but people get upset talking about bots and waiting in line for stock around here. Your first statement is incredibly wrong. Second statement is dead on.

Don’t bother responding in depth. Once we know you’re botting that’s all the info we need. No need to dig the hole deeper!

Yea it would be nice but I don't even think the entire blowout community could organize a boycott large enough to make a dent in the current market. It's gotten completely out of hand.
