The Orange /199 PSA 10 that sold for $3550 last night was the most surprising to me. I expected at least $5k with that one.

Yep.
That was a bad listing. In my app, you cannot see the bottom of the card to see its blue nor the /99 in the description. I'd definitely have bit that one up a lot higher. The only blue I dont have...dang it!

Yes not enough characters for the auction title.. in order to have "blue" the seller would have had to take out "invest" LoL.

Luka likes playing against the Clips, but he NEEDs the help of the refs. Refs love to swallow their whistle against him, and playoffs are notorious for "tough defense".

Can't let Beverely and Rondo foul him every play and just because physically bigger - not give him the call.

Luka deserves star treatment just like PG and Kawhi get.

That's a huge factor. If Luka's getting fouled every play and no calls, the Mavs are toast.

But who does the NBA want to win the matchup? That's who will get the calls...

In today's market $2 to 2.5k. it is extremely difficult to get a 10 on these due to the red back borders.

Depends on your definition of affordable but I think sticker autos could be, yea...

Could be wrong on this, but short of a finals appearance, I don’t think the playoffs will do anything to stop the downward trend either. There’s just no hype around him or the Mavs right now. Whatever offseason moves the team makes will have a lot to do with how the hype looks in the fall.

All of this is perfectly fine with me. I’ve been very picky with what cards I’ve bought and I’m not selling any so I don’t care. I’m 100% in buying mode right now

Is his market really downtrending outside of the common stuff? I’m still waiting for a big piece to fall into my lap. Contenders Optic, Spotlight Sig, Flawless auto, Kaboom, etc. Everything is still too expensive.

So many people are bailing on the high pop stuff. I've seen a base prizm PSA 10 offered at $900 with no takers and even a silver prizm PSA 9 for sale at $1400 but people said they were still waiting for it to drop even more.

I guess it was always risky to hold onto high pop stuff but I definitely wouldn't be selling now unless I had some bills due or something.

Wait, you think a PSA 10 Prizm Silver Luka is common?

All kidding aside, those should have never been $8-9K or whatever they were. A couple ended at $5.5K this past week and I won't be surprised if they end up getting back down around $4K. PSA 10 Optic Holo's back down around $4K now after getting up to $6-7K at one point. It will be interesting to see what happens to some of the big pieces over the offseason. I think they begin to dip as well.

I don't think it's everything since I saw a 2018 prizm purple fast break psa 10 sell for 25k and last sale was $20k on 3/31.

It depends. Immaculate RPA /77 and Zebra selects have downtrended 30-40% since the beginning of the season.

Flawless seems to be holding steady for the most part.

The Blue's are appreciating. Blue Prizm PSA 10 went for 90k in Miami a few weeks ago and these were 30k prior to the season.

IMO holos shouldn't really be considered "high pop". The silvers dipping drastically aren't surprising to me but the holos would be. When does 20-21 optic come out? I'd think they'd get a bump when that releases this year.

I agree completely on the Holo's and much prefer Holo versus Silver Prizm. The last PSA 10 Holo eBay auction ended on 5/3 for $4.1K and change. There are two ending later this week; interested to see where they finish.

I’m skeptical about that because he’s pretty much there already. Statistically speaking, he’s like the greatest 22 year old ever through his first 3 seasons. Fair or not, the numbers he puts up are pretty much expected now. What brings his market back are the Mavs bringing in a true #2 and other players that make them legit title contenders.
