Mowed today, edged and threw some milorganite down. Solid hour of rain after. Great timing.

That's on you for not having him do it EVERY TIME!

No rain for 2 weeks now (we had mist on Friday, .03 inch), yard is browning up nicely.

#6 yesterday, younger son ... older son running the backpack leaf blower, daughters picking up sticks and raking leaves into trash bags, wife pressure washing the sidewalk ... dad just hurling insults and critiques at everyone.

Yard looking pretty decent ... I need to take a picture.

I hate HOAs. Usually a bunch of loser board members who have no lives and will never have any other power in their real lives, so they make homeowners in the neighborhood miserable.

Needless to say, the board was demolished with votes against them and the lady kept her flag pole.

I've never been to a board meeting, sent a proxy, or really been involved in any way shape or form. I even told my HOA to shove it when they complained about where I stored my garbage totes. So, I mostly agree with you.

However, HOA's are a good enough deterrent to keep shiftless layabouts out of my subdivision (and thusly keeping my property value prop'd up), and that's good enough for me.

No Boo families scorching their yards or leaving broken down cars in the street/driveway. As George Carlin is oft quoted, "NIMBY! Not In My Back Yard!!!"

Sun and lack of rain doing the scorching. Keep paying someone else to live in your house and tell you what to do. Property taxes are enough for me, I’ll live as I please. Don’t live in some WT neighborhood if you don’t want broken down cars (or vans ) around.

Power washed the fences, mowed and weed whacked the front, and cut down the branches from our neighbor that are coming over into our yard. Today and tomorrow will be spent mowing and whacking the back yard and cleaning the pool in preparation for our cook outs on Saturday and Sunday. Extremely lucky that I work for a school so I'm on summer vacation now.

Do you think he can afford to irrigate the compound grounds? Plus think of all the junked cars and scrapped appliances he'd have to work around. A brownfield vibe works for Boo!

Finished everything. Yard is mowed, fences power washed, pool is a crystal clear blue. Think the wife killed the rose bush when she pruned it though.

When are you repainting the deck? It looks like it could use a new coat on that railing.

Did that last summer. It for sure needs to be retouched in a few places.
