Should hear something soon about Topps plan. Maybe early next week. No comic con so gives them extra time to note plans. But curious as well if stuff is going to be scaled back this year.

Hopefully we will start seeing everyone's plans soon. Leaf released their plans for the VIP set and box and set break redemptions. One of BO's competitors posted it on facebook earlier today.

Are you taking viewer questions? I have some tough ones for them.

Noticed that Big League baseball is now releasing later in August. So the only baseball product releasing at the beginning of the National are the factory sets. There are a few soccer products coming out that day. No Ginter or Chrome to pick up during the show this year.

Doesn't sound good for wrapper redemption chances.

All Star Game is not the National.

Not saying there won't be redemptions, but in the past those were used to help move extra inventory of less desirable product.

There is no "less desirable" product anymore, thus no need for redemption programs. Topps and Panini have no reason to spend more money to pump out redemption packs when their product is moving just fine on its own.

People looking for freebies and promos are going to be seeing a very different National this year.

Nah. I disagree. If they are doing the wrapper redemption at the All-Star game they will do it at the National.

Didn't know that. I was only saying that because they would be less 2021 product to use for redemptions. But if there doing a wrapper redemption at the all star game then I'm sure there will be one at the show this year.

There's plenty of 2021 topps product sitting on the shelves. Series 2 and Heritage are still abundantly available. Other products are too just at marked up prices. I would have liked to rip pro debut or ginter for this promo but it is what it is.

Lots of good information besides talk about the National but the National piece is presented at the 46 minute mark. Not too many specifics but does not appear that Topps is going to scale anything down:
