Feels like the best QB in the NFL deserves his own (non show-off) thread

He's no longer king, Herbie just dethroned him at his own house a couple weeks ago . Herbert and the Chargers are gona be atop the AFC West this year. In Mahomie's career so far, there's only been 5 games where the opposing QB has been better than him statistically. Herbert has 2 of them

As a former Duck myself, and San Diego Charger fan, he has made it difficult to stay away after their relocation. Loved watching him every Saturday, did not see this coming however. Great QB, all the tangible and intangibles you would want in a QB.

Right, we did see his athletic ability every week in college but even devout fans were somewhat mislead by the pre draft narrative, I'll admit we aren't used to seeing too many successful pro ducks at that position, tbat could have something to do with it.

When they moved they were dead to me, he and their uniform change I've been begging 3 decades for have brought back my loyal juices. Its nothing short of incredible what he is doing week in week out.

It's hard to dislike the Powder Blue's. Don't fight it.

I'm still a Dennis Dixon fan. Him and Jonathan Stewart = Awesome.

I text a friend of mine at halftime,, he played guard for the San Diego chargers in the mid 90's...

Is Herbert the best QB to wear a Chargers uni?

That Dixon led team was a lot of fun to watch. Oregon fans have been pretty lucky in many recent eras.

I love Phil. But Herbert has a stronger arm and we don't need to talk about mobility. But I'm with you, people can remember what they want about PR's career but most Charger fans know what he brought to that organization.
