Shotzi as a heel. Hard to look at since she's been a babyface forever. I can tell she was trying hard to be "tough/mean". Just not her character, but she pulled it off well and let's see how it goes.

i told someone in a facebook converstaion that the idiots that run wwe had no idea what to do with kross and he was going to get buried after they had him lose to one of the hardleys. that guy told me i just needed to quit watching wwe if i was going to be so negative. it isnt negativity when you have seen it happen over and over to talented wrestlers. i bet he kills it in AEW

Sucks that all these people lost their jobs, and thats a lot of names, but to me the only big name losses were: Keith Lee, Mia Yim, Ember Moon, Kross, Scarlett, and Harry Smith.

Kross got zero reaction on the main roster so I wasn't hugely surprised there, but he needed Scarlett, because without her he is somewhat generic.

Keith Lee will succeed wherever he goes, that man is so damn talented. And Yim & Moon should have zero trouble finding work.

I don't know if AEW will want any of these guys as AEW roster is deep and none of these guys are big names. Maybe Lee and Kross/Scarlett, and Jax could go to Impact but rest might be stuck going to Indies or Japan.

Kross/Scarlett back to Impact makes the most sense, I don't think they left on bad terms, and I'm sure there's easy storylines there.

Could see Lee/Yim going to Impact, Ember Moon to AEW.

I don't see Nia Jax getting picked up by either.

Feel bad for Morrison, came back, pretty much used for comedy purposes only, hire his wife, fire his wife, and now he's on his own again.
I would've just asked for my release too and gone back to Impact.

I assume Mia Yim/Keith Lee will go to AEW, Kross/Scarlett to Impact. Honestly I don't know what WWE is doing. Kross could have main-evented Wrestlemania this year. He's a superstar. Keith Lee is in that Seth Rollins tier where you could use him really anywhere. The roster has basically no headliners anymore. There are no really fresh matches left and that's sad.

it feels like vince would be perfectly happy if brock, roman, orton, rollins, lynch and flair headline every PPV for the next 5 years.

I still think end game for Vince is to try to sell the company so try keep payroll as lean as he can while keeping the top tier talent to do 90% of the matches.

Once again WWE proves that they have no idea how to build new stars. Look at the top 20 names on the mens roster for RAW/ Smackdown. Now show me the guy that is under 35 and has been promoted to a top spot in the last 5 years. When I think about it the only names I could come up with are Theory and Riddle (while he is 35 I would count him as a new star). Everybody makes fun AEW for being the next WCW with all the contracts and their is some truth to that as I think AEW absolutely has a bloated roster. However WWE is looking a lot like WWF of 94- 95 with a rapidly aging roster and a seeming disconnect with the current fan base. It will be interesting to see what they do going forward.

Vince is playing the long game here. I bet he's releasing talent to overwhelm AEW; see if they'll overextend on contracts. Any talent that doesn't get picked up I bet you see Vince roll back in with contract that has a lower guarantee.

I read something that Kross/Scarlett did leave impact on bad terms and it involved something between Scarlett and Don Callis
