Renegades (Obama & Springsteen) appears to be available on amazon for $421.63 at the moment. Looks like it's sold by amazon ...

5% discount for using my amazon card and it is set up for same day delivery. Thanks for the heads up!

No problem, I hope they are able to fulfill everyone's order. That said I double/triple checked that it's fulfilled and shipped by amazon which means there should be no problems if you change your mind.

This was out of my budget at the moment but I would appreciate any updates on when you get it.

I have scored so many super cool pieces on this forum, I'm just glad I can help others fill out their collections.

Any idea how long this was up before you posted? I grabbed a copy shortly after seeing your post. I will keep the board updated on fulfillment.

No clue, it hit RACC (large FB autograph group) and I saw it in under a minute and immediately cross posted it here maybe 3 minutes after it was posted there? FB is also having serious issues notifying folks of new replies so it's possible that is preventing word from getting out to the serious people.

Also, while it's a good price, it's not a great price. I don't believe there's anybody out there buying 20x of these like you had with Dave Grohl (one guy on RACC literally said "ordered 24" as a response to a Grohl post lol). And to be clear, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, just might explain why these are still available.

They are limiting to 1 per account. I bought mine and tried to create a 2nd order and got an "over the limit" message.

I see what you're saying. Doing the math based on recent eBay sales, you're looking at a 10-15% profit margin after fees/shipping which is just okay.

I'll be very happy to add this to my collection at this price though, thanks again!

Oh that's awesome! I mean, not for you but ... that might be the only reason you got 1 to begin with

Yeah I'm more likely to post something here instantly if it's advertised 1-2 per account ... especially on Newberry. I think I've only see target & amazon do this with things like trading cards, funkopops or action figures.

Now I wonder if this isn't the "backwash" from amazon fulfilling 1 per order on the first wave and re-releasing the aforementioned locked up books? That'd be super cool of them to do.

Yeah also remember that ebay is filing 1099-k for over $600 flat this year (so it's more like 7.5-11.8%). So if you're a fly under the radar guy, it ain't happening here anymore. I recommend buying this as a collectible instead of a quick flip. Who knows, maybe the podcast grows and grows in popularity and this particular piece becomes more and more valuable? Or maybe they release more volumes and sign even more and value goes down? Who can say. I paid the ~$350 for his A Promise Land to check off that presidential signature so I can't really talk. If Renegades got down to $350 I'd probably hop in for one.

$27.99 is really cheap for signed vinyl. What are you expecting to pay? That's cheaper than the unsigned LP will cost at the local record shop.

It's simple really, it's too big of a pain to resell vinyl and I honestly don't care for their music. I want to pay $20 for a signed something with cd and flip the cd for $8 on ebay.

Is Korn on vinyl a thing? I don't care all that much for their music ... maybe I misunderstand them but they don't really strike me as a band you play on vinyl? Idk, always seemed like loud party metal to me.

I shelled out about this price for signed Deep Sea Diver vinyl so I can understand a fan paying this much. I just don't imagine there being a whole ton of kornheads walking around.

Glad the price was right for you!

Plenty of Korn fans still around. Do they care about this new album? Hell no. It’s a pass for me with a signed card. Signed vinyl would be different.

Don’t new records generally sell for around $25 anyway? I imagine you can get most of the cost of this back and still have a signed postcard, or whatever it is.

This album 180 gram is $18 on amazon. It's a heck of a lot easier to sell CDs than vinyl on ebay. For one I don't have to drive to my post office to mail a CD.

Also, I've had to just issue partial refunds a few times selling CDs for inane reasons. Here's a small taste of people who buy albums on ebay. I sold a CD of selena gomez to alyke_4795 for $6.90 + $3.19 Shipping. Okay, I send it media mail, estimated (estimated!) delivery date is Dec 16th. Cool, tons of time for the holidays. December 16th at 5:19pm CST I get this message "I didn’t receive my cd on the 16th please give me a refund". Then minutes later "My package is delay please give me a refund". Okay I wait a day I see it's delivered, I send a short message apologizing for the delay but pointing out that that is WELL within the original listing's shipping estimate. The 22nd I get this message "It said it was delivered but it wasn’t please give me a refund". January 1st: "I didn’t receive my package it said it was delivered but It wasn’t please give me a refund". Bear in mind, no case is opened against me. And on the 2nd "The cd was broken I don’t want a replacement please give me a refund". So at this point I politely explain that there has been 3 different reasons they want a full refund and I politely request they open a case and let ebay resolve it. No case is never opened, haven't heard back yet (knock on wood). Sorry for the long complaint over a net of, you know, $5.40 to me but if I'm going to sell super cheap CDs on ebay and get that, I definitely don't want to know what happens with media mailed vinyl.

No regular edition Korn Requiem have sold on ebay yet but I have learned my lesson about commenting on whether or not I'm buying something when posting it lol I believe it's sold out now so I hope those who wanted it got it.

Oh, resell. I don't do any reselling of stuff like this. Not worth my time. I wouldn't even expect to break even selling most autographs I buy.

I spent $176.48 on the signed Alanis Morisette vinyl after tax and shipping. Can't imagine many resellers buying stuff like that.

Also tears for fears at recordstore ... little too pricey for me. Saw it for sale at merchbar cheaper but the fine print said first 150 orders only.

I can't believe I've been on this forum 12 years and didn't know about this thread .

If anyone scored or has a lead on similar signed Korn items please let me know. This link is sold out

Forgot to post this last week when it came in.

I bought the signed MOM from Forbidden Comics in the UK when they had them the first go around.

Gave it to @IndySportsCards to send in for slabbing because I really just wanted to protect the auto and the book came back a 9.8.

My GF loves that band, but not only is it pricey, they only ship to UK.

Any idea why it was qualified? That green flip is disaster for future resale...but I agree it looks good. I have seen CGC books with, for example: "Stan Lee written on cover" and still a blue flip...so maybe another reason for the green?

Just FYI, if you send to CBCS they will verify signatures on comics.

I posted in here a few weeks ago Andy Serkis was doing a charity auction and was selling autographed postcards for $10ish. Got this today. This is actually my first Serkis auto, so super excited! Little beat up from crossing the pond, was in a PWE, but not too bad.

Oooh you got a nice one, mine was sharp for my personalization but lots of streak in his autograph. Still amazing deal at 10 quid:

Mine shipped from Wisconsin, FYI, not across the pond.

What does a blue or green "flip" mean? Also, what does "qualified" imply.

Thanks, I have no knowledge on grading stuff.

Sorry dude, I will keep an eye out for you and PM you -- especially since you filled that huge PSA/DNA blue flip group break for me back in the day!

I think it's the color of the label which indicates what service was applied to the encapsulated item -- that is what the flip describes. And it varies for comics vs autographs vs cards etc.

Blue flip (or universal) for comics is the grade only, purple is ... actually why am I typing this out? Read this. When you get to green, that is the qualified color:

Quote:
A Qualified label is used by CGC for collectibles that have a significant defect that needs specific description, or to note an unauthenticated signature (one which was not witnessed by CGC). For example, a comic book with a missing coupon that otherwise grades 6.0 will receive a Qualified grade, avoiding a considerably lower grade. CGC would give this book a Qualified grade of 6.0 and a Label Text notation “COUPON MISSING FROM PAGE 10, DOES NOT AFFECT STORY.” Or, if the book is signed on the cover it may be noted as “NAME WRITTEN ON COVER IN MARKER.”
So this wasn't grading for auto authentication so they treated it like it's signed which, duh, of course it is. So the label is a different color than blue so you don't sell this and someone is unsure if the sig is part of the printing or live ink. Hope this helps.

Here you go. I didn't know myself either so was curious and looked it up. Basically green labels are if there is a defect that needs describing or an autograph not witnessed by CGC.
